Akasha, What a different world it is your side of the gender divide. I think if I started up a fake female profile it'd feel like walking from my cosy front room where I have thoughtful chats with good friends, into a cattle market in which many of the animals have learned to swear. Apart from the weekendly 'add me, I'm Lady X, weighing 75 lbs, living in Dallas, Nigeria's, I get only polite, friendly cmails from women who've very obviously read my profile. I write back in kind. It's quite easy for me to act like a gentleman, because that's the way I'm treated. I've got slower to reply, I know, and I'm sorry for that.

Can't be bothered to read this thread now but if that is considered to rude? Gosh, then I sooooo dammnnnnnnn love being rude...as after all, what does a bloke expect to receive when he either does not read my profile (and would know that we won't be a match) or is not bothered about it...RUDE is my middle name [:D]

I don't think anybody who doesn't respond to all their email is rude. The one exception to that is is if you ask someone to email you for some reason and they do and you don't respond. That is pretty rude since you specifically asked for it, unless it was something totally bizarre and off the wall. Heck I don't respond to all my email, and I don't get that much of it. I've been here a few months and gotten maybe 40-50 mails and probably haven't responded to about 10 of them. It's just a pain in the butt when you get someone you can tell right off the bat is a scam, or the people who very clearly didn't read your profile when they ask for something you specifically mention you won't do in all caps. Those people don't deserve a response. I generally do respond to those that aren't stupid, but then again I don't get 40 a day like some people do. If I did I wouldn't respond to all of those either. I'd rather someone just not respond to me if they're going to be rude to me, especially since I try my best not to be rude to people.
