Evening/Morning Ladies
Another dull Dublin evening greets a new weekend which is to herald yet more rain. Yeah folks we just cannot get enough of the rain. As if a soaking July wasnt bad enough laughs.
Anyway id just like Your opinions on the following. i was reading in my local paper of a Woman who flattened an intruder who tried to push past Her. i began to wonder was She a Domme? And if so would this be the reaction of Dommes here? So Ladies Would You feel comfortable tackling or decking a male intruder, or would You call the police? Has any male tried to push past You before and if so what was Your reaction? If it happened to You how would you react. ? Would You be scared and call the police? Or would You take great pleasure in beating the guy up or pushing him onto the ground? Opinions appreciated

I have a 70lb. pitbull who would meet them at their point of entry, I own several guns, which I am trained (and my daughter) to use. I would not have any qualms about shooting an intruder who broke into my home. I have signs on my gate warning them about the dog and one my sub bought which reads "Never mind the dog, beware of the owner".

I figure if your going to be a criminal then you take your life into your own hands when you break into someones home. Afterall a womans home is her castle.

She'd use a gun, he'd use a gun. But with all the shooting wheres all the fun? Projectiles you say, to that I declare nay. A sword is what I'd use, my martial prowess I'd abuse. For around my domain they hide, one for every other stride. A gun be loud and boultorous attracting many a folk, whilst the blade as would cut him down you tie him up and make him a joke. So when some one arrive by force meet him with something so frightening his throat goes hoarse. A firearm is so common his revenge on you he would set, but a crazy person with a sword is a sight he'd not soon forget.

I am not much for tackling.  Of course I would call the police AFTER I finished laughing my butt off as the intruder tried to fend off two large black labs and the fuzz-butt dog.  But, yes, I do in fact have several items in my house that can be used for home defense.

I did call the police to remove the guy sleeping on my porch one morning.  Just in case the guy had died overnoght or something I did not want to leave my finger prints.

Honestly Kev, I have not found it needful to beat guys up or push them on the ground.  I find a firm confident voice works just hunky-dorey.

Im not for an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth lark ,  I dont think anyone has the right to shoot anyone dead no matter what. Call the police absolutely. And hit him with a frying pan or cane his ass so hard he does not even think about doing it again. Im fully in agreement with that too. But killing someone , no I could nt agree with that, no matter what. If an intruder entered my home, I would call the cops. I dont have any weapons in my home. Well short of a kitchen knife
