My birmans finally threaten Peppers treat territoritry

Already before I had the birmans I did hide the treats for Pepper, so that she has exercise for getting them (she was a scardy cat back then and rarely outside, which these days is not the case anymore) and I still do that....especially when I am leaving for 2 days to my partner or parents...that way she is occupied for the next while...

Anyhow, recently I have seen Urmel jumping into my shelve as well to start finding it and last night Summer did so, too....

Well Pepper....if they don't forget about that fact you will have to speed up to get all your treats yourself

They're being total brats tonight. I had taken my bra off in the bathroom and it fell on the floor. I went in there and found that one of them had dragged it into their litter box! Fortunately, they hadn't done anything to it yet. but the nerve!

Then I made the mistake of leaving my open purse on the table. One of them got up behind it and pushed it off so all the contents spilled out. Sheesh!

My Ragdoll found the biggest spider known to mankind in my shed, and proceeded to chase me out of the shed and down the path with it, whilst it tried to escape from her mouth. All the bravery I had summoned to go into the shed in the first place left me in an instant and I ran down the garden screaming like a little girl. My heart is still racing!

Ewwww. I don't blame you for screaming. They have a knack for finding and catching disgusting creatures.

One of my kitty girls brought a small snake into the house last year and scared the daylights out of me. I saw her come in with something in her mouth, but could not tell what it was. She dropped it on the floor and it slithered off. My heart was in my throat as I chased the snake, caught it, and put it back outside.

Indeed...back in 2008/2009 Pepper did the same shit, bringing spiders from the garden inside in my flat to play with them there....once she realised her toys aint gonna last long in here once I get hold of them she stopped that habit

Though in her case I am sure that habit was, cause she was rather scared outside and so she felt safer inside to examine her found toy

Mine was sleeping upside down upstairs.  I carried him down stairs past the parrot.  He is scared of the parrot- even tho I found a dead bird in the yard. lol.

I love my kitty cat!!

Mine is killing shit and leaving it near my fridge.

And then, after the fact, he comes up to my bed, snuggles up to me and (effectively) says (with kill on his breath) "Hey Dad, wassup? Say, listen....I just spent the entire day outside killing shit (for you Dad), brought you the flavor of the week...and I was thinking....do you just love me more than EVERRRRRR!!!????"

To which of course, I respond with a slight pat on the head...and...."Yeah, I do but....leaving deer in my living room, which frankly, I have absolutely no fucking clue how you fit those fuckers through your kitty door, is just no longer acceptable".

Any advice would be appreciated.

My advice....be happy your cat did (likely) not kill slugs....Summer used to love eating them whilst she was pregnant and in the beginning I took them off her twice in one day when she brought them into my living room (with her lovely manners to piss on my sofa on purpose after taking her off the second one...you could soooo see it in her face...her determination for revenge ).

Anyhow...after that she regularly came inside after eating slugs outside and with her mouth being fully covered in slug slime that was by far the worst I ever had to smell from my cats

LOL I always say when I leave for work it's like leaving a 2 year old at home alone. Usually when I get home the kitchen cupboards are open, and his little blanket is dragged to some random spot in the living room, dining room, hallway... Once I came home and the recliner was reclined. It's hilarious.

My cats can't understand why their mom is randomly yelling WOO-HOO and doing the snoopy suppertime dance around the house.......I got a job as a dispatcher again....the Georgia State Patrol, and I don't have to move if I don't want to...it all depends on me getting a car in the next two weeks....if I get one, I stay, otherwise, I'll just move there. Even now, I'm grinning like a freaking cheshire cat. I just can't seem to stop.

I just get the usual kitteh "Big whoopty-doo, the food plates are empty!" looks from my bunch. Altho, KB did give me a head butt when I told him I'd be able to afford more food with the pay difference! Maybe even FANCY FEAST!

Misty's hiding under my long skirt while I sit at the computer. Angel is in a predatory mood and has been chasing her, so this is her safe haven. Angel knows that she'll get yelled at and/or squirted if she ventures in here to pick on Misty.

The salad I purchased at the market was called "Chicken Cobb Ranch," but when I got it home to eat, it ended up being a "Cobb Ranch." There were only a few strips of chicken on the salad, and guess who conned me out of them?

Viktor is spinning around the apartment meowing his little head off. It's windy outside and I have the patio door open (screen door closed) and I think the wind is freaking him out. Every once in awhile he lunges at the screen and meows at it.

So....time to close the door and bring him to bed - my little drama boy.

The lads are sprawled in the middle of the hallway waiting for Himself to grill the steaks. He started the fire, so they know meat's on the menu tonight.

There's a mosquito-eater in the apartment and Viktor is like the Tasmanian Devil in here trying to get at it. They've been at this game of tag (off and on) since about 4AM.

I can't get to it, either, but I'm not knocking everything off every shelf trying to do so.....unlike SOME creatures in here...

My kitties are being so silly again tonight. They get exactly the same food on their plates, yet both are convinced that the other is getting something better. First. I had to chase Angel out of Misty's plate and redirect her over to her own. Then, Misty left her own plate of food behind to stand and wait patiently until Angel was done. She then started eating Angel's left-overs and left the exact same food alone on her own plate.

I went to see a movie after work and Miss Angel was none too pleased that I got home a few hours later than normal. When I opened the door to let myself in, she just almost knocked me over in her haste to get outside.
