Status: offline 		I am all for calling a spade a spade. Anyone that has read my words on here, for any length of time, should be fully aware of that.

HOWEVER.......constantly berating and badgering a person in a way that makes the person DOING IT look like a petty immature fool and, only succeeds in making the person they are berating look more like a victim. There is a difference between attacking an idea or behaviour, and attacking the person. More people would benefit from finding that line.

As I said, Prin and I have had our differences. One in a recent thread of hers. I strongly disagreed with her thoughts and opinions on a matter and had no problem voicing that. I have no doubt that my opinions were quite clear. However, I made a concentrated effort to stick to the issues and explain my feelings about those issues, rather than attack the individual/s that did not agree with me.

Is that clear enough? Seriously.

Yeah, right.  I said I would not come back to this thread until I discussed this with my Sir. He does not make decisions for me based on which forums I decide to register with. He does read, though.

As long as my Sir doesn't reprimand me or tell me I'm out of line with the conclusions I've drawn, I'm not too nervous about my posts.

So, LaTigresse, yes. I do believe you're defending a stance on the OP's part that is clearly indefensible since she claims to be a 'licensed therapist' in the U.K.

Everyone of her posts comes across as 'WTF'? Why won't anyone claim me as their sub /slave. The answer is in how she presents herself.

In which case maybe Prins actually doesn't need defending. It is something I am struggling with because I think some responses here have been overly harsh, however you are right if Prins puts it out there then she is more than aware of what she will get back.


I agree. But I have better things to do than criticize. Its Prinns life, not mine. Its not my job to tell her how to behave.

As a pshyc major in college, i saw many off kilter proffesors. We are all human and we all have issues. To be a therapist one must have objectivity with others and not engage in Transferance or Counter-transferance behaviors. So long as they dont treat themselves they are fine.



Point of order: you're replying to my post, but can I just point out those aren't my comments? Ta.

Oh and yes; I used to work with that sort (still do from time to time) and yes, they're none of them were what you'd call well adjusted.

I have yet to see the person Leiren actually answer the qurstion as it pertains to herself.

"Do you see yourself as perfect?
Do you see yorself as flawed?
Do you expect perfection in others?
If no what flaws can you handle, what flaws are actually appealing?
What IS the 'gold standrad' you are using?
If you are D type would you train, iron out those flaws in an s type? "

I really would like to learn your opinions and learn about you on the inside.

She apparently DOES see herself as a victim of everyone who just can't quite 'grasp' her view. I didn't insult her. I pointed out that she's lessening her chance at finding a person who might fulfill her needs.

Her problem seems to be the negativity and blame projection. She's not yet admitted the fact that her own attitude and actions are the likely cause why someone hasn't contacted her and made a real and sincere attempt to establish a relationship with her.

And before you flame me for not being qualified to say that: I have lived in Russia, in Moscow in an apartment built during the Stalinist period.
