I very much enjoy and get a great deal of satisfaction out of performing oral sex. However, I still view it, in my own mind, as a submissive act. I do not perform it as much for myself as for him. It is about his pleasure, his indulgence. In the end, it is about the pursuit of his orgasm.

We all have different views, of course. But I am a bit put off by the suggestion that I may only see it as a submissive act because I may not enjoy it (which is untrue).

As i rev them up and then stop.. or go slow.. i was in control and i controlled how they felt, what they felt and even they're orgasm. Status: offline 		It's a very submissive act for me...and has been since long before I ever knew about D/s. From my first experience as a teen, as a matter of fact, I recall that sense of pride and contentment at having pleased my partner.

In the last few years it has become extremely spiritual for me, as well. Something I didn't forsee.

Is it inherently a submissive act? Nope, I don't believe any act is either dominant or submissive. It's the mindset and approach that makes it so, as many others have already said in this thread. I just don't happen to have come across any sexual situation that arises a dominant mindset for me.

Sorry if you took it that way but I was only speaking for myself and my own views on my life. It does not matter whether he is controlling it or just allowing me to do what I wish, I do not think of it as submitting and that the only way I would view performing oral sex on him as submitting is if I did not enjoy the act. That is my own opinion of my feelings and thoughts and is not meant to be taken as a suggestion on other's thoughts and feelings.

No I don't think oral sex is a submissive act, because if it is there's alot of Dom/mes out there performing it on their subs. I personally love oral sex receiving and giving. For Kari and I oral can be a submissive act or not. Sometimes she wants it so bad that she initiates the act and enjoys doing it. At those times it's definetely NOT a submissive act. What if the position was changed a bit? Iit appears that most if not all talk is from the position of the sub woman appearing submissive in her oral love with Her Dom.
