You mean the man who won the president republican debate according to the fox news poll?
You mean the man who had a higher internet following than any other candidate during the early stages of the president election?

You mean the only politician that can actually walk his talk?

Wow, i have no clue who you are talking about. I was referring to Ron Paul, who had the worst RNC nomination rating according to every poll i can find. i may have missed one though.

You should be glad, glad that your guy's in, and its him that's getting kicked around instead of McCain.

Fact is, I think I would have disliked McCain even more than I dislike Obama, for a variety of reasons. .

Why is that surprising? In 2006 and 2007, ever discussion about politics, world events or humor centered around Bush and Cheney. You could not have a serious issue about much of the Middle East stuff without it being derailed by the words "lies" "WMD" and/or "illegal war".

I see the exact same things occuring just the sides have switched to the other sides tactics, back and forth. The merry go round keeps going in circles, and most here believe we are getting ahead.

As far as the OP goes: Bill is right, Bill used to be funnier, Bill got tiring to watch. Bill always had a token conservative on his show, so that he had a butt end for his jokes.

Rush used to be funnier watching his late night show, as the expressions on his face were hillarious. Both are entertainers, and entertaining in different ways, but both are still using slight bits of illusion.

What I'm seeing is that many of the outrageous lies that were made about Bush, the outrageous claims, are actually true about this president. Obama also shares many of Bush's faults, and Obama easily outdoes Bush in a lot of Bush's most grievous shortcomings.

Spending, for example. Obama is outspending Bush in just his first few months - which I guess that must be okay now, this insane deficit spending. Obama's got Conservatives in the crosshairs of his Department Of Homeland Security Terrorist watch list, apparently not a big deal either.

The White House appears to be sending union goons out to town halls to bust people's heads, when did Bush ever do anything like that?

I could go on and on...

As you can tell from my name, I love a good story...and this one is a great one!

Can you please tell me where to find the stories of the White House sending union goons to town hall meetings to bust heads? It must have got lost under the story of the anti-healthcare reform protester biting off the finger of a pro-healthcare reform worker.

And why would the office of homeland security take any notice of the fact that conservative protesters are showing up to town hall meetings and demonstrations with loaded firearms? Or the fact that President Obama has received more death threats than any other president in history? We know from 9/11 that it's far better not to take a look at possible dangers to our country. And we all know Timothy Mcvey was an arab plant.

But most of all, I love the "What was said about MY president were horrible lies that justify my saying anything and everything about YOUR president and besides all this stuff is true about YOUR president" attitude. It takes a lot of inventiveness to claim the moral highground while reserving the right to wallow in the mud you accuse those who disagree with you of wallowing within.

So far, though, I haven't seen Obama lie about WMD in another country as an excuse to get into a war. You gotta give him credit for that.

Tell me about the goons again, Uncle Sanity....I really like the part about the goons.

Ok...let's take a look at the citations one by one (I read them all and urge all to do so. I will not quote them all because of space and convenience)

In order:

Citation 1: In a meeting of  proponents of healthcare reform, David Alexrod urged supporters to make sure they were well prepared for the town hall meetings, mobilized fellow supporters and said "If we get hit, we will punch back twice as hard"...this of course didn't mean countering the opposition's arguments with more emphatic counter arguments. This is, as you point out, a code for "We will bus in union goons to bust heads".

Citation 2: The Service Workers Union pledged support for Obama's healthcare proposal. As we all know, when a union pledges support, they are actually offering to send their goons to public meetings to bust heads.

Citation 3: Ok...I didn't watch the video (my speakers are out for some reason).....but I did notice the other links listed on the side of the page: Yep...fair and balanced news all right. My favorite is the Bipolar one. Can we try to keep our citations to organizations that have a greater grasp on reality, like Mad Magazine?

Citation 4: Same organization....Still like the bipolar one but the loyalty pledge thing is moving up on the list.
