It explains more about the posters than it does about the Obama administration. Unfortunatly, the examination of the last two citations used by Sanity ended up being accidentally deleted from the post. They're the ones that really get to the meat of the issue. There was a youtube clip in which a woman belonging to the SEIU shoved a video camera out of her face, either intentionally or unintentionally causing the camera to hit the cameraman in the face. Obviously the unions are using small, female goons either because more of them can fit into the White House buses to bust heads or because the unions have an affirmative action program in which small female goons are hired in preference to large male goons who are far more qualified. Finally, there was another vidio clip of a woman talking about the small female pushing the cameraman's camera in an interview. I think it can be agreed that two clips about the same isolated incident does not make it two incidents. So, in short, Sanity's "head busting" accusation turns out to be backed by one speech on political tactics, one announcement that a union supported the healthcare reform plan, two videos from websites of dubious reliability (and I'm not partisan in this, I would feel equally dubious about a site that had headlines like "Dick Cheny Actually Alien Sent to Eat Our Brains"), and two video clips of a woman shoving a cameraman during a demonstration. I will limit myself to pointing out that this is hardly "smoking gun" kind of evidence. I think the sources cited in Sanity's post explain a whole lot more about some people's world view than about administration policies. What is doesn't do is point to any White House plan to send union goons to bust heads. To quote Barak Obama.....I mean the Joker ..."and people say my jokes are bad".

It would seem that believing someone could be 110% right about anything might denote a lack of education about how percentages work....... Nevertheless this is largely good news for those of us able to string a sentence together based on reasoned argument deriving from widely accepted facts we have taken the time to learn. Except of course for the facts (possibly) that no one likes a smartarse and those incapable of verbal formulation so based often tend to resort to ever lower common denominators to make their points. E

The accusation was sexual harassment in the workplace, but really, has anyone seen Linda Tripp? WHo would bother there? He was probably just trying to make her feel pretty, and she had never experienced that before. I bet she accuses men in bars of sexual harassment too, now that she hs a new face and boobs. Personally, I would deny any extramarital sex if it would bring shame and embarrassment to my wife and kid. it's just a blowjob.

So you'll have to explain the logic that gets us from "There were disorderly incidents at a demonstration" to "The president is sending union goon squads to town hall meetings to bust heads." Second: Goon squads usually entail more than one person at a time, unless it's a very small squad or a very large goon. How about this: If you don't, without reason, evidence or even he slightest clue to back up the theory, accuse the president of sending out "goon squads" and I won't paint the fact that a handful of conservatives are coming to town meetings with loaded guns prominently displayed as "The republicans are sending assassination squads to shoot progressives at town meetings." Let's try to keep the discussion in the realm of plausibility at least till lunchtime, shall we?

Wasnt it the Judge in the Clinton affair who defined what sexual relations meant? They asked for a definition of sexual relations. The judge, instead of giving a simple answer, gave him three pages, typed, single line, but neglected to include the word "blowjob". So, by this definition, Clinton answered truthfully, within the legal definition given by the judge.

If you think that what is happening now really qualifies as "union goons busting heads" then you really need to do a bit of reading....some people get shoved at a demonstration, what's the big deal? As much as you would like there to be union goons (or gun-toting looneys from the other side's perspective) intimidating people, it just isn't really happening to any great degree, certainly no more than has been usual for decades.
