I don't want to know their names, whee they're from, I don't want to give them "lawyers", social workers, "humane conditions or anything else. D_E_A_D, that's how I want them!
They should have given those savages in GTMO Bibles wrapped up in Koran book covers just to fuck with them and taken pics of their sweet little faces when they realized what happened! I bet we'd have seen some Bible pages in the toilet, you think?



This is another topic that has been beaten to death on these boards and I've posted my views many times.

In short, how do you claim to be defending the freedoms and principles we are supposedly fighting for by abandoning those freedoms and principles?

Two problems.

First, many of those caught as terrorists turned out to not be terrorists.

Second, what we did could hardly be termed a "soft approach".

I wouldn't bet your life on it, all you have is the statements from those that were there and they'll not exactly be giving an unbiased recollection now will they, not considering all the media attention it got? The problem is admitting to it at all makes people wonder if it could have been more widespread.

There is evidence it was carried out on some before which the government insisted it wasn't carried out at all.

That's a little,..."abstract" don't you think? This isn't a "legal action" it's a military operation. Two differant things.
Your statement above would seem to suppose that we "give" rights to foreign nationals who want to kill us.
Why on earth would anyone want to do that?

No, it's not abstract in the least.

It is what we have condemned other countries for and prosecuted those who used such tactics against our own as war criminals.

Well then, if waging violent Jihad makes them happy we have to let them puruse it, I suppose. They get the right to "pursue happiness", with "liberty" and ""life. So we can't kill or detain them. Case closed. America sucks.

You know, I'm confused, because I always have been for going after the terrorists within legal means.

Which is why I supported Bush's invasion of Afghanistan and I support Obama's plan to hopefully put a finish to it.

Yet we have conservatives here arguing against what Obama is doing, while they praised the same thing when Bush did it, while at the same time arguing we are allowed to do anything to capture and get information from those we deem terrorists.

Nope according to the article he was not a ring leader for 9/11. But that was not from lack of trying on his parents end. In fact from what the following quote says, they raised him to be a terrorist and their biggest dream for him was religous martyrdom. I wonder if they are disappointed that he wasn't killed. Maybe I would have a little more sympathy for them if they didn't drag their children into their bullshit.
