is there a size limit to being a domme? the reason i ask is that i have received a message from a guy stating im too fat and to give up now now im thinking he is just in need of some very firm discipline just thought i would check though as i dont want to spend anymore cash than i already have on equipment. most seem great on here.

First...welcome to the forums. Ignore those types of messages and do not allow fly-by ass-holery to get to you. You have no control over what others write to you, but you have all the control over how you react.

Nope, you can get little pillows or chair like things to avoid that.......... so, at first I was gonna say yes, but it is a decided no... By chance did he give you this pearl of wisdom after you had rejected his request for a laundry list of things that he needs to express his submissive self? People who cannot get attention or responses seem to love nasty hit-and-run messages. You are a Domme if you feel you are one and the sub(s) you choose find in your time together strength and confidence. Size does not make a Domme, nor does age or any superficial measure. Trust me, be a nice person and this idiot will quickly be forgotten for someone who is truly submissive. The odds are greatly in your favor and the nasty person who sent you the note knows that.

A lot of sub/slaves actually like it better. You will find some that you float their boat, others you don't. Just ignore the ones that want to be asses or that don't have someone bigger as a preference, and focus on all the ones that find you perfect.[:)]

You are going to get messages like that no matter what. Some people just like to go from profile to profile and insult...I guess that's their thing trying to hurt people. Block him and move on. Chances are he didn't even read your profile or look at your pic for that matter. I have a Domme friend here and we are total opposites in color and body type, and this one..um "person" sent us both the same exact insult. It sounds to Me more like it was the hit and run insult type. Some people get off on that. To answer your question though, no. There's no such thing as too fat to be a Domme. Just like there's no such thing as too short, too poor, have too little formal education and so on. I'm all of the above and not only am I a good Dominant, but I'm also a damned accomplished top. There aren't too many people around who would argue the point with Me.

In my opinion, part of being a Domme is empowering yourself to the point where you are able to own your power and beauty regardless of how far you stray from the media's current ideal of how you should look. Interestingly, most of the longterm lifestyle Dommes I know in real life are large women. I don't know if this is coincidence or choice, or perhaps a sign that they enjoy the sensual pleasures in life, including eating. The opinion of an insignificant internet peon shouldn't phase you.
