If she was wearing boots, she was within her rights to deny you the phone.

If she was wearing shoes, she should have let you make the call.

If she was a male transvestite, she should have alerted you to her birth sex.

Oh my gawd this made me laugh so hard. Thank you.

(Secret note to kevie: it's all a conspiracy by the fem supremists, get used to it!)

Maybe the Lady had one of those Dolly Parton moments. Maybe she was driven crazy all day like Dolly Parton and She just snapped. And my request was the snapping point. Either way it seemed strange to me

Kevin, has one single person here agreed with you?  Just one?  Any single one?  No.  See that's the sad thing about delusions... by their very nature, no one can convince you that your perception of the event is NOT what happened.

Kevin, get help.  Really.

Or maybe the rule is that you aren't allowed to make a phone call there. Ya know, like other people have said is the rule in their office.

With apologies to Dolly Parton
Workin 9 to 5
All this service and devotion
Barely gettin by
Not much chance of that promotion
If you lose your mind
You will never get any credit
In other word
It will drive you crazy if you let it

No................ what happens then is that you put rat poison instead of sugar in your boss's coffee.

If I had known the effect that a German accent had upon some women, I'd have started using it during highschool.

Oh! Ze mizzed opportunities!

The post while at first seems odd- but knowing my friend Rory over there- I can picture the event.  :-)

Well that would be great if there was a  sign saying No cellphones permitted but there wasnt . .

If you were under the genuine presumption it was okay to make calls freely in their private space, you wouldn't have asked for permission.

So what sort of verbal 'positive reinforcement' were you hoping to get out of this female security officer that you're upset that you didn't get?

I had my rights trampled on today by a Female Security Officer. I went into a building where there were no other staff , just  reception area and was greeted by the familiar Can I help you there? and what turned out to be a cunning female smile. I said yes can I make a phone call here, its quiet and I would like to make a phone call where I have quiet and can talk. She replied no Your not making a phone call here.  I walked out feeling like a twelve year old. Is this right? Should a Female have the right to exert authority over males in this way? Opinions please Ladies
Kevin

And what rights would those be? You have no right to use the phone inside of a building you did not own. She told you know and you turned into a 12 year old scolded child? Why? Should a Female have the right to exert authority over males in this way? Tell me you did not say that , do you know unintelligent that sounds?
Her badge and maybe a gun, plus her employee card gives her that right, not her sex.

Kevin,
You were trespassing on private property and then you asked if you could loiter in the lobby.
You had no legitimate reason to be there and you were behaving in a way that made her certain you did not belong there.
She was just doing her job.

If she had been a man, you would not have wondered if a Male had the authority to exert authority over males that way.

Can you sift through the dust of your delusion and see that?
