I know certain vanilla women who like to be thought of as difficult, though they would likely not admit it. for somebody, if slut is a hard limit, such a person has no place on this site. Run back to vanilla or sign up for a monastery. Respect is given at the right time, but the terms in BDSM are not always honorable and many girls like this freedom as an escape.

AS a Domme, caling someone slut is a limit of MINE becasue I dont like the term. I prefer pet, and if they have a problem with my not getting abusive enough with my verbiage, then they arent much of a match with me. Its just to me, the term puts too much focus on the sexual aspect of someones position and since I am not looking to focus on the sex it doesnt work for me. My 2 cents DV

Two books were recommended in the beginning of this thread: The Ethical Slut and Exhibitionism for the Shy. Has anyone who has read them care to give an opinion on them? i had not heard of them before and am curious...

To say that someone is vanilla for having the word slut as a hard limit is bit of a stretch though. Unless you own this site, you don't have the power (nor the means to enforce it) to tell someone else to leave because they don't fall in line with your One True Way. Celeste
