situations such as this is why things have become woefully diluted and incite confusion for those entering the lifestyle. both acquiesce. the differences rest on one persons ability to negotiate and the level of control ceded to the dominant.

i think we can all agree what obedience is. you either are obedient or your not.

i'll let others debate the finer differences between sub/slave

is that so? perhaps all the customization efforts of persons like yourself have caused some to attribute inappropriate associations to each.

how do you plan to market this concept? and what happens if you receive interest from someone who defines herself differently? is she permitted to negotiate or is total servitude expected instead? i'm attempting to wrap my mind around this. please assist.

*blinks* It's not that hard? If that's true, then you are WAY WAY smarter than I am as well as a lot more savvy about humans in general.

The last time I wrote about what I thought in this space, the pitchforks and torches came out. I'm not really up for inciting a riot again. It serves no useful purpose.

How can you use a comparative adjective to define someone?
Thats like saying 'would you like a naughty or an obedient?'
My answer would be 'A naughty or obedient what?'

the premise of what he's proposing has a definite problem. someone seeking the level of surrender as a slave is going to want something vastly different than the girl who prefers handing over less control. how does he market this with a blanket term that fails to take into account that obedience is one portion of the dynamic, not all of it. if the obedient submissive has no desire to yield as a slave, does that imply she's not obedient?

what about the reverse. if he picks up the slave but has no desire to own, then what? she's obedient, but slavery has its own tenets. is he willing to go between either extreme based on who he meets? and is this going to be articulated as well? or is the girl expected to conform to a way of being that bears its own definition instead?

if she self identifies as either. would it suggest that she must be willing to embrace living in another way. the sub who becomes a slave or the slave who becomes a sub?

So would that be an obedient pet?
obedient human pet?
obedient helper?
obedient assistant?
obedient 24/7 or a weekend warrior type obedient entity?
Would this entity be obedient 10%, 20% 30%...100% of the time?
Would this obedient entity always be obedient even when you accidentally contradict yourself? Or would they...heaven forbid, be disobedient and question when something needs clarification?

I mean, inquiring minds want to know, besides; attempting to reinvent the bloody wheel is both asinine and idiotic in reality.

Yet it can also be said that a person who identifies as a slave will display attributes of qualities which we associate to one who identifies as a submissive; thus the reverse is also true. In the grand scheme of thinks, I see the qualities to what is a slave and what is a sub to be too alike to be able to differentiate. Both are engaging in a form of power play with a dominant person, it's not so much the defining qualities which separate one from the other, it's the mindset the person has and develops which gives them a sense defining themself as a slave or a submissive.

it has been this slave's experience that individuals submit...some of them refer to themselves as submissive, some refer to themselves as slave and some don't refer to themselves as either, yet they all still submit, for a variety of reasons and in a variety of ways.
