That's why the delay tactics. I don't see the logic of your second sentence. Not really how things work in Washington! And the public option has been a sticking point. We'll see whether the bill moves along now.

If there is indeed public support how is any of this due to the Republicans, one way or the other. http://speaker.house.gov/newsroom/pressreleases?id=1430 Seems like both are there. Just checked. Both the managers version and the full version are linked on that page, dated For Immediate Release 11/03/2009 If the vote is for saturday, then she did indeed uphold her agreement.
