^^^^^^^^um ok did I miss something???^^^^^^^^^^ anywhoooo if someone 20 or younger says they are a Dominant who am I to judge them. Under 20 and calling yourself a Master might cause an eye roll . However, some kids are precocious. You have prodigies and savants in every art form. Some people just have that gift you know? Who am I to judge. I have met master musicians who are WAY under 20. They piss me off to no end, but they do exist. And one could argue they don't have the years behind them to have had the time to practice and learn the nuances of the music. Then they play and you just think "You little fucker! Where did that soul come from???"

Of all the loud mouthed bigoted, unpleasant, ignorant, uncalled for posts I've read anywhere this takes the cake. sadly the days when such persons would be run out of town after a public tar and feather job or a lynching are gone. Honestly I can tolerate all sorts of stupidity but this is a bloody declaration of war and frankly as I understand ToS this ?person? had already used up more lives then most and blatantly tried patronising and walking over people. Sooner this ?Person is out a here the better. No one and I do mean no one need to have this shit levelled at their siggy line for any reason whatsoever. For me of course I don't have to tell anyone here that my heart belongs to daddy. I can't tell you in words the difference between young and old men at least as it relates to D/s let alone M/s. Daddy is going to a party tonight back east and the oldest woman there will under 40. Seems more and more women and young women are going for the older dom. Maybe it's because like me thery've had experience with the young and for me, it was never fulfilling. The older man (even older than my real dad) can be hot, sexy, no drama, no baggage, no problems. It has been beautiful even though distance do we still part.

I used to date men 10+ years older than me. My play partners have all been older than me. I can't imagine relating well to a 20 something who hasn't the miles of experience that I have now. With that said, when they hit my father's age, I am not at all interested.

You make a valid point regarding the siggy line inviting such negative rants. Some time ago breatheasone and I have a somewhat robust debate about this however in the long run I believe we learned a good deal about each other and have agreed to disagree as often as not which is a very healthy thing in my view. However as far as this blatent flaming of breathesasone's siggy lines go, Several of us have noticed thagt this most irritating person doing all this blather is ignoring the body of posts and attaching himself to a post like an unwanted limpet or coockoo and blasting away with hios self aggrandisement and ridicule of others. I don't have to agree with anyone's religion or faith, I will not stand by and watch someone denigrating another because of their religion or faith. Not dome old chap , just not cricket and talking about cricket I'd love to have a good willow in my hands and this person's knackers hanging free and try to score a 4 of not a 6.. people have the right and should have the right to post a line or five in siggies or other wise let people know their religion or belief if they chose to. You may not like it nor agree with it and I may not like nor agree with it, but it would be a sadder place of such things were barred and in my opinion would be discrimination.

greetings, perhaps i'm a little confused about the implication of a personal statement someone chooses to place within the signature area inviting anything. particularly since the response must be entered and visibly read before posting. anyone that chooses to respond or react to what is listed in that vicinity does so by choice. the party in question is sharing something about themselves and what they enjoy, very much like others do and have done on this site. whether their beliefs are in accordance or opposition to yours is not of consequence. if the individual is that offensive the site provides a feature to remove them from the screen. sometimes the most reasonable solution to a dilemma is the very one many overlook. porcelaine

I tend to skim over signatures and, consequently, had no clue what the poster was responding to until others explained it later. I'm all for the natural flow of conversation, but when a person is responding to a sig, vs. the substance of a post, it would be helpful to identify via quote function what they are responding to. Because, seriously, discussing age difference then segueing into "Jesus was a Jew" was confusing as shit. I'm generally supportive of laughing at people who think sig lines on a bdsm forum are the place to proselytize, however, we must keep it in proper form. Perhaps an "Off Topic" post considering whether CM is fertile ground for conversions?

As for the OP, to be honest, I'd be less likely to be interested in the person if they had to ask that type of a question. I'm only commenting because the issue has already been raised. When you write a personal statement to be used as your signature, you also do so by choice, and with the knowledge that it displayed every time you post a message on the boards. "Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour , i promise you will never regret it. i pray the Lord gives me just alittle more time, so i can tell just 1 more person about Christ" is not merely "sharing something about themselves and what they enjoy". It is proselytizing. I consider it inappropriate and repugnant for anyone to try to convert us every with every post they make. Whether we agree with their beliefs is not of consequence, but the fact that they are trying to push them on us is of consequence. In regard to the suggestion to just "hide" the person whose signature line is offensive, why should this issue be treated any differently than the content of their posts? When somebody writes something and displays it to others in a forum like this, the readers have the right to reply if they find it offensive. [Edited to correct the quotation marks]
