I don't know about this at all. I mean, if pro Dommes were indeed "ruining the site" we'd be able to see some actual [img]http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/2691/h03j.jpg[/img] tangible evidence of things being affected. It's not as if such supposed catastrophic events wouldn't happen without leaving figurative skidmarks. There would be some indication that quality is being [img]http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/7107/h01n.jpg[/img] compromised or that some very clear and noticeable adverse effects are taking place on the site. I just haven't seen or experienced any issues that would indicate to me that parts of the website are getting mangled [img]http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/5294/h02k.jpg[/img] or destroyed in any verifiable way. shrug

Personally, I'd prefer not to see commercial listings on this site. It doesn't bother me greatly that I do. I think it is reasonable to be concerned about a possible "tipping point" effect. It's only to be expected that commercial dominants would be eager to make use of an opportunity for free advertising. If CM starts to look like most of the listings are commercial ones, noncommercial posters will probably feel that this isn't where they want to be. Whatever one's feelings may be about commercial domination from a moral or aesthetic viewpoint, I don't think anyone would wish to see this site come to "dominated" by commerical listings. It would seem that there is a simple and obvious solution: Those posting commercial listings should be required to identify them as such, and there should be a filter so that those who wish to view commercial listings may view them, and those who don't won't be forced to wade through them.

Would it even be practical to ban all of the pro dommes? I doubt it, somehow. Trying would just lead to all mentions of tribute or professionalism getting removed from profiles, leading to more rather than less irritation.
