I always find it ironic that those who literally have to pay others to spend time with them tend to be the most annoying of the posters here. 

Ever wonder if it really isn't the pros that are the issue, but the clients?

What you're talking about is a stealth pro or a scammer, not a pro domme.  An ethical professional *no matter what field they are in* has the responsibility of making a fair and honest deal, of providing satisfactory goods and services for payment.  A scammer, a player, a taker or a user seeks to get something for nothing.  A professional wants to negotiate a win-win deal for both parties, an equal exchange that they both agree is fair.  That's a pretty big difference.

People can be for or against whatever they want, but an intelligent femdom who is here for good conversation or seeking a personal partner is likely to be quite grateful that there are in fact pros on the site who can handle some of the screaming do-me queens who would otherwise be sleazing in her inbox.  I know a lot of dommes who are totally uncomfortable with the idea of ever doing pro sessions themselves, but in a lot of years in the community, I have never met any dommes who were actually against the idea of other people being pros.  The only "anti-pros" I have ever known have been men, and most of their attitudes could be largely summed up as "waaah, you're a bitch and a whore because you won't totally cater to my every sexual fantasy for free without my actually having to get to know you or be nice to you, or make any effort to be attractive to you."

Have to agree very much with LadyNTrainer on this one.  As I've said before, the pros don't have an effect on the lifestyle Dommes because we're not their target clientele.

To the best of My knowledge, there's no one on this site that has the power to force anyone to send them money.  If anyone has sent money to another person here, kinky games aside, they've done it of their own free will.  The site even has the big red banner that tells you not to do so.  However, if you were dumb enough to ignore the warnings and did it anyway, that really is on YOU and doesn't have squat to do with Me.

If anyone out there is having financial issues of any kind and are giving their money to someone else for the purpose of kink, I don't feel sorry for them.  It's honestly not My problem.

Agreed.  I'd put it in the same ballpark as a baseball card collector spending money for rare baseball cards to complete his collection when he was broke and unemployed.  It's stupid, but it's even stupider to blame the people selling baseball cards.

I know I would not feel comfortable taking money from someone who was buying what I had to sell for unhealthy or unsafe reasons, or because of a compulsion or an addiction.  It wouldn't matter if they were a kinky personal training client or a totally vanilla one.  But unless I actually find out that's what's happening, I would have no way of knowing.  I'd like to think that I have a reasonably good eye for red flags of this nature however.

I don't think pros should be banned, but I do think they should have their own special section since there are so many of them. That way people who are looking for one can filter them in or out. I get the random, off the wall, unsolicited message from pro-dommes every once in a while and while it's a bit annoying, those messages aren't from reputable, well-known and respected ones.

I say just give them their own sections. :-)
