Um, I see DS at the center of the BDSM acronym, & thought part of the point of the BDSM acronym was that it elegantly compacts most of the (major) letters of the kink alphabet: Bondage & Discipline, Dominance & Submission, & Sado-Masochism. A, uh, power-packed acronym, so to speak . . .. . .

...A BDSM relationship is one based on some combination of Bondage, Discipline, Sadism, and Masochism - note that there is no mention of Dominance and Submission in the acronym, though it is frequently taken that way....

I think once again we all have been punked... no one but a masochist would post pompous tripe like that on a forum... my guess is he's got a messy sticky keyboard.

Well, I can see we won't be seeing TewHawt on the Gorean forums.

Not so fast, Tim he may decide to tackle Gor next. [;)]

Yeah, but the men wouldn't have to say anything. The girls would destroy that post.

That's true....and it sure would be fun to watch [sm=popcorn.gif]

He has two rules for me.
1. Do as I say.
2. Never lie.

Easy peasy.

And very sensible as well.

TewHawt's Ten Commandments of a Dominant Man

Just found this on a fake sub's profile. I believe it to be written by a man in disguise or TewHawt, who, when you think about it, is also a man in disguise.

The Good sub's Guide
What went wrong!
Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have be thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they get home and the prospect of a good meal is part of the warm welcome needed.

Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.
Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.
Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives. Run a dustcloth over the tables.
During the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your Master will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering to his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.
Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum.
Be happy to see him.
Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.
Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time.

Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.
Don't greet him with complaints and problems.
Don't complain if he's late for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have done

So that's it - you're basically Carol Brady or Alice the housekeeper..I think he has a heart attack from all that food or falls asleep watching football while you curl up in a basket... Hmmm, not so bad.

Thanks, WSB. A cut and paste sub, who would have thought?

Yes, they can be found on both sides of the kneel.[:D]

lally2 -> RE: TewHawt's Ten Commandments for Dominant Men (11/21/2009 7:23:14 PM)

i think what often happens is that you meet someone of a similar mindset or a multiple of someones with a similar mindset to youre own, share youre insight, which because of heightened interest in each other makes all communication between you seem sublime and because youre a little bit new and can see that others might be struggling in terms of identifying needs etc you feel that you have touched on the cornerstone of how it all works for everyone.

whats great is that it works for you and you have found a way of making it work for the people youre talking with. so for you it is the way to go and i dont believe you can go too far wrong with much of what youve written there.

its sound, considerate and thoughtful, so good luck and all the best.
