OP - have you even looked at your profile from the standpoint of a "real woman" who is a Sub and not someone who wants to be used and abused? There is nothing there that says: this is someone I could trust, someone who would care for me, someone who can care for me, and someone I can respect. From what I read it does not even look like you know what you want out of this lifestyle.
It really sounds like you are a whimp and a whinner not a winner. If you want sex it is easy - just lower your standards so that normal women with curves and unperky boobs fit in what your looking for. I've never been to a club where I could not get at least a BJ by having some neat toys, being a nice person, and treating real women like they deserve to be treated.
Finding someone you want to spend your life with and vice versa is a lot harder. I've been on this site for a couple of years and I have not found her yet but that was because I was not ready to provide the security she would need to be 24/7 and have a family. I've worked on that and I'm just about ready to really start looking again.
What do you offer someone? Your profile says nothing about that. Why don't you rewrite it so that someone might actually be interested in it. For example one Dom in a city close to me who is your age basically said - retired, homes paid for, not many chores to do around the house, laid back, looking to play and travel, need a companion. He was snatched up in two months and now has two subbies in the age range of 52 and 63 at his place and last I heard he was having a blast.
Based on your profile my suggestion would be to hop online - look up all the countries where prostitution is legal, then fly there and pay for your fantasy.

As a “dominant” I’m often more likely to dash off a missive to someone for whatever reason I have little or no chance of meeting or even any interest in meeting. This is because when I see (which is very common) detailed instructions on what format letter they’ll answer I sorta say wtf , if I can’t write my own missive the way I want then I wont.

At social functions I’ve been to in the past I’m was more often a wall flower than not, because every unescorted woman there had a circle of men around her wanting something or other and I felt it beneath my dignity ( to my fan club, yes I have a sense of dignity ) to join the chorus line of dancing doms vying for their attention. Often I would leave early in disgust. I’m not into puppy dogging I guess.

I’m not castigating subbies I can understand their point but well, life can suck and it just plain works against us at times.

Comments from others about their point of view

Self-pity is so unappealling!

self pity is far from my intent, if that were the case i wouldn't be here

it's an observation that many others have

It might not be your intent... it is your result......

but.... as many others have the same observation.. you are not alone with the self-pity!

lets say it's your interpretation

why can't the intention of the op be the accepted intention instead of the intention of those that merely read

So what kinds of requirements do you allude to?

Maybe the part where dommies don't refer to them as subbies.  Some of us see it as very condescending.

Humiliating?  For some, I suppose, although generally, condescension is a form of anger as well as indicating that you're better than someone else.  And gosh, that is soooooooooo attractive in a person.

You may find more success if you wrote in a way that made sense?

another trouble with doms is that they don't always do what you want them to do

what's with that?

osf read my journal, take a weekend to do it though
Who really cares about your journal?! You have about 5 seconds to catch the "mind" of someone when they first meet you. On here that means your profile.
Your profile sounds like it was written by Eeyore on a day when it's tail fell off, the rain was pouring down, and Eeyore was lost.
This thread is worse - It sounds like poor me. Won't some sub please take pity on me.
