I agree. The term "power exchange" makes no sense to me. I'm unable to come up with a crisp definition of power, nor am I able to clearly see what is being exchanged. For that reason, I favor "authority transfer" which, to me, seems crisp and clear. Carol transfer some portion greater than 0% and less than 100% of her personal authority to me.
