In Alaska..oye...i would love to go to the woods that lally goes too though..

osf, there just a certain type that i have been drawn to in a healthy way. i have found it works for me. i do not care for wishy -washy Doms. I will respond better if they say what they mean, and go from there. Some who just has that leadership ability magnitizing off of them, without the need to pound their chest. Someone who is more of a doer verses a chit -chat talker. i get bored with small talk. Someone though who is a thinker as well, though usually both in abstracts and logic. They need to have logic, since i carry the aspects of the right brain strongly, and to have an interest in abstracts to understand me. i need someone who guides me with a firm hand/arm yet quiet, almost to the point you do not really know they are guiding you, yet they pull you in to do so. Someone who knows a lot, yet isn't fence into their own man-made prison, just because they are a Dom. Someone who is cold yet has compassion, yep I know sounds crazy, but that does exists, and i tend to droll over that. A Dom who likes me for myself is the most important factor though when all is said and done. Who wants me to share my thoughts, and will ask my opinion on things between us or outside us. Who does not have a desire to completely change me, but can see areas that i struggle with and push me to get past the blocks. i love to push myself as it is, so having a Dom who wants to help me in my challenges is wonderful. Though i havent met many men with these characteristics the ones i did had all of me. Saying no to them was never heard or will be, though they might hear me say, 'can you help me on that'?

How would it unless you think they define themselves by your attentions.

Yet another reason why living by myself in the woods in Alaska is looking better all the time.[:D]

Good point, and well taken.  I'm glad my silliness was useful.  At least you can see the positive side to your own situation.

I would have preferred Clark Gable, myself. Much better Dom than Gary.

As my E puts it - when you're with someone and you never feel the need to put the tv on ... it's all good.

I like that. Did you ever doubt that you'd find such a person?

wisdomtogive -> RE: I'm curious, all the female submissives say the want one (1/3/2010 11:18:28 AM)

I don't have a "situation" per say as much as I have choices to make..All joking aside..Alaska is in the plans and living alone in that beauty would suffice as far as I'm concerened. I'd take a peaceful existence carved out in the wilds alone over that same set-up with a not so compatible person at my side...any day.

What amazes me is how some people know they need to change all the while pointing out the faults in others..All the while making lite of their own shortcomings.

How could someone have an outlook like that..One of my shit doesn't stink and still carry their head up high when they know the truth is exactly the opposite.

Keep in mind that this comes from a submissive....It's not my "situation" but theirs that they need to worry about.

Me too! Yum.

Although I loved Rock Hudson. Especially when he threw Doris Day over his shoulder in "Pillow Talk".

I know, I know, Barkin up the wrong tree with that one.[:D]

Yes, Lushy, Rock was quite handsome, but alas...I also liked Paul Newman...yikes, what a man. Those eyes could drop you to your knees in a nanosecond....

Everyone has shit that stinks. I have had my good and bad moments. Moments I am proud of and moments that I am ashamed of.

I am human therefore I err. Anyone that cant accept this in me or others... Well, lets just say best to find people who are compassionate and can take a look at themselves too.

True but don't take the easy road and cop out..Make a change..Don't make the same mistakes when you see you have an issue.

Absolutely. Often people take the easy way out.

I use to hear," Im sorry, now drop it". But no actual attempt at growth.
Growth, amends and attempts at change shows the true character of a person.
