Indeed DC - I work daily with people from that part of the world; if there were Black Death (or anything similar) running rampant I suspect I might have heard a great deal about it through other than the news sources that are apparently being suppressed. The other aspect which doesnt add up is that many central/east European vehicles are driven by Ukrainians. If there were such a disease running wild the risk of it being transmitted west now that the holidays are over and the drivers back at work and coming this direction, I fancy it might be something the western European governments might take an interest in. E

Pneumonic plague was never actually eradicated in china, there are cases almost every year....though less and less recently. No idea about any specific event lately, not heard it getting mixed up with this stuff anyways.

I agree Panda. The package insert does list those ingredients, and all those ingredients can cause harm. In this case, the harm those small amounts may cause are weighed against the harm the disease can cause. Sadly, pa has been listening to people who arent very informed and are more into the fear mongering than reporting facts.

Each airport has codes embedded in the scanning software, and certain airports will trigger different ingredients in the vaccine. Of course the only problem with this plan is I've not yet found a great desire within myself to visit the Ukraine for any reason, and isn't Kiev some kind of ready meal? Probably if they said to me you must visit Ukraine for health tourism I’d say: aren’t there any beds available in North Korea or Iran? Not that I have anything against the people of Ukraine it’s just I find it hard to relate to people that glow.

Science denial has always existed, but yes it is on the rise. The question is can we overcome this constant threat to humanity, or are we being dragged inevitably to another dark age?
