Loss of liberty?

Care to explain?

Polio vaccination is just another aspect of the loss of liberty brought about by creeping socialism.

Not spending your life in a wheelchair or leg braces is the kind of socialism I'm all for, frankly.

Making upstanding citizens pay extra taxes to provide healthcare to those who cant be bothered to provide for themselves and then making children have the vaccination whether their parents want it or not is clearly wrong, it is socialist and Jesus never said it should happen.

You're damned right! Sticking needles into the arms of innocent people, against their will, is exactly the kind of shenanigan Stalin used to pull! Vaccination is nothing but socialism in disguise. You let your government poke you in the arm, the next thing you know they're sterilizing your children and forcing you to pay for it. Direct line of progression from one event to the other.

Particularly when there's heavy metals in the vaccines. especially the ones that are taken orally.

Same thing with all this water treatment stuff that goes on. In the good old days we used to get regular rounds of diseases from infected water and then in comes the government, meddling in our lives, making us pay taxes so that the infections are removed.

Dammit, I want the choice of getting dysentery, cholera and so on, as the Lord intended.

They shouldn't be building all of these sewage systems and reservoirs so that the shit's kept separate from the drinking water, you're right. That's a real bloody liberty. There wouldn't be all of this unemployment if all of the illegal immigrants were catching cholera...

LadyEllen -> RE: Science Denial on the Rise (1/9/2010 3:25:14 PM)

Exactly, now its dead certain that faith in the Lord to preserve yourself from these diseases is most effective. Only the unfaithful catch them and die, which is proven because they no longer attend church regularly.

Since science came along, people still catch diseases and die - curiously those who die are still those who no longer attend church regularly - and therefore all this damnable science stuff is established as bunkum, since it has had no effect whatever in changing the previous condition.

However such argument sounds distinctly like something a scientist might advance and therefore I should not be listened to.

Do you ever smoke, eat fish, wear antiperspirant, breath near cars, use electricity or use table salt?
