Has anyone else heard about this? Go to the Google search engine. Type in buddhism is and look at the suggestions in the drop box. Erase that and now type in christianity is. Again, take note of the suggestions in the drop box. Erase that and then type in islam is. Huh? Looks like somebody's afraid of something. ETA: Also try judism is and atheism is. No problem getting suggestions for those.

I did those things and don't get what your talking about. It worked fine.

Type the word that I italici... ital... that I made slanty directly into the search box (you don't need to itla... make them slanty, I just did that to differentiate them from the rest of my comments). No quotation marks, no plus marks or anything else. DO NOT HIT ENTER! Just look at the suggestions that are in the drop box that appears.

The suggestions in the drop down box are based on what other people look for per region I get: Islam channel Islamic bank of Britain Islamic relief Islamic finder Islamic calendar 2009 To name a few, what do you get?

I typed Islam. (in the pop down box) Islam finder Islam religion Islam calendar Islam calendar 2009 Islam holidays Islam way Islam art Islamicway.com and so on. Unless I'm doing something wrong..I don't get it..Maybe it's not google and it's your browser that's limiting your search..Microsoft maybe?

If I recall correctly, you're in Britian? I tried checking your profile but... Perhaps the powers that be at the British version of Google aren't nearly as gutless as the American one. That would be doubly dissapointing. Anyway, here in America it appears, the phrase islam is provides ZERO sugestions unlike the one for other religions which include such suggestions as christianity (or judism, or buddhism) is bullshit, is not a religion... ETA: are you typing in the word is after the word islam?

Icarys is from Virginia, he get similar results to me. 'Is' alluding to Islam gets 86,900,000 results.

Try typing 'por'[:D] Now that is censorship because I get 'Portsmouth' and I know people aren't using the internet to find that.

Maybe it's a regional thing, i dunno. All I know is that when you type in christianity is you get several suggestions in the drop box starting with: christianity is bullshit. buddhism is produces a top result of: buddhism is not a religion. Similar results for the others EXCEPT for islam is... which causes the drop box to disappear.

ahh Now I see but perhaps nobody is typing that to find results? Try putting in 'Muslims do' and you'll find more 'don't' than 'do' items, this system reflects what people search for.

Maybe it would be better if you were more specific in what you were eluding to. Yes I guess it is censorship in a way but who searches like that anyway. It would seem that the majority of the findings would be either in praise of or against a certain thing. Islam is awesome... or Islam is the devil. Maybe also Islam is helping others?

Besides, if you type in "islam is bullshit" WITH the quotation marks AND hit enter, you will get lots of hits. The suggestions drop box is being censored. Why, and what they hope to accomplish, I can't say with any certainty.

I've just tried typing in collarme is. That also produces no result. Obviously the Google people are as afraid of us as they are of the Muslims. [:D] (You know, I've always suspected Greedy of being a mad bomber).
