All of you, please CALM DOWN! http://searchengineland.com/islam-is-blocked-by-google-suggest-bug-32921 It is a bug in google.... you can get the same results by typing just about any first word followed by the characters at the start of the word. I type collarme and got a few suggestions, then when i added the c, guess what, none of those suggestions had a second word that started with c. When I typed collarme, I backspaced the e and then typed e-blank to get things like: collarme password This feature of presenting suggestions has only been with us for a year <maybe less>. I've been googling for something like 10 YEARS! (Likewise for eBay.) I was an early adopter of both! Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn for this "feature." So try himalayas him and you get the exact same effect. If the second word starts with the same letters as the first, you'll OFTEN get no suggeststions. Censorship would be typing "islam is" (with or w/o quotes) and getting NO results when you hit the enter key. With quotes (i.e. The phrase "islam is") I get 3 million plus results. Just one more reason I despise this kinda of "feature." I'd prefer that google would stop messing with a good thing. Regards, Lance Hughes (who has a Masters in Comp.Sci - would have received a B.S. in Comp. Sci. but the subject was "too new" for the University to have developed the degree. My B.S. in Math has a heavy concentration of Computer classes - every one they had - and was awarded in 1971.) A bug, yeah I'll buy that - NOT! (is my eighties upbringing showing?) More likely this is a case of "Opps, in our attempt to not stir up controversy, we've stirred up controversy."
