Our household's policy is that everyone who comes into our household goes through a trial period. That includes those coming in as servants. We have a probationary training period, where previous experience can be evaluated, and our house's special requirements are taught.

I wouldn't completely discount a person's experiences outside our household, and depending on what their role with us might be, their outside experience might be -very- -very- valuable. Almost everyone will need to learn about how to co-exist with new individuals and to manage the special requirements of a given household (and that goes for both sides of the kneel), but in general, all of us come into relationships with our own set of experiences which have their own value as well.

i have a large horse boarding farm, if i wanted to set up a poly household all i'd have to do is be a sweet sensual dom, say like you, and id have women crawling all over the place

Alandra and I are curious just who the hell you are talking about because "sweet" and "sensual" are not adjectives that would be used to describe him.
