Now I agree that some people need food assistance, and energy bill assistance but only after a thorough investigation confirms it, and they aren't making payments on a $100k home or a new car, while making us pay for their luxuries A $100 thousand dollar home...for fucks sake where can you buy a house for a$100,000? Hell you can buy a couple of city blocks of houses in Pontiac for $100k. Bullshit http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/Pontiac-Michigan/ Hmmm... Listings Pontiac MI Seems to be at least 30 homes on this list ranging from $700 to $6200 with most of em under $2500 each. Thanks for keeping things honest and all.... Edited to add: Your own source states that the average listing price in the 48211 zip code is $12,234. Of the 500 listings less than 20% were under $10,000. My cite listed the median price of homes in Pontiac as in excess of $60,000. Nowhere in your cite does it show blocks of houses for sale. From my cite: quote:
There are currently 507 resale and new homes in Pontiac on Trulia, including 568 homes in the pre-foreclosure, auction, or bank-owned stages of the foreclosure process. The average listing price for homes for sale in Pontiac MI was $64,298 for the week ending Feb 10, which represents a decrease of 2.7%, or $1,807, compared to the prior week. So we are still at bullshit plus evidence tampering. Your original question was where the hell can you buy a house for $100k. Yes I overstated the cheapness of the property by saying city blocks, but there are houses there for sale by owner for $400 and $500, and there are some blocks in that city that are almost all for sale or condemned. So my original answer still stands. You can buy a house in Pontiac, and still have enough to buy a few more for under $100k.
