xssve -> RE: "Financially Secure" (1/19/2010 11:18:40 AM)

I meant the original post in this particular exchange, my bad.

And, I don't believe I'm the one with the chip on their shoulder here - I have every reason to mistrust and hate women, and I don't - doesn't mean I can't call 'em like I see 'em, older and wiser and all that.

You chose to take offense, so be it, I don't think I referred to you at all in the post where I originally quoted you, I had no opinion about you at that point other than I'm partial to Redheads - you wanna shadow box with a strawman, knock yourself out.

xssve -> RE: "Financially Secure" (1/19/2010 11:26:28 AM)

Fact is, I'd rather take things into my own hands myself than get stuck with another self centered, manipulative, man hating bitch - I'm not that desperate.

So, if that doesn't describe you, don't respond to it.

Lockit -> RE: "Financially Secure" (1/19/2010 11:57:52 AM)

Oh go climb your ex's ass and leave me alone. I am not offended by you, but since you singled me out... you bet your ass I am going to call you on your shit. Now go play in the street big boy.

I have a splendid idea!!!!!!

How about you take responsibility for choosing to be with the vile specimen of humanity and get a better attitude so that you can attract someone better!

Supermarket theft is completely different. Your stealing from a business whats not yours. The internet is a communications medium not a business. Big difference. Thanks stella
Kevin

And Kevin you don't only not own the photo and have stolen it by putting it up on your profile, you're also misrepresenting the person on the photo.

Two new words for you to learn today Kevin, 'copyright' and 'infringement'.

Someone owns the copyright on that photo (you can even see it in the text in the top right hand corner) and it doesn't matter where you take it from, whether it's the Internet or anywhere else, if you're using it without permission or without a licence then you're infringing copyright.

If you need a photo to use then why don't you go to WikiMedia Commons or http://archive.org and get one which is 'public domain' (which means you can download it and use it).

Just like the photo here, which you may use if you like.

Stella - I asked you not to publish that picture you took of beth outside the Sherlock Holmes Pub. That was supposed to be kept private.[sm=dunno.gif]

Now you let our little secret get out! [sm=gaah.gif]

That 'inner beauty' is obvious isn't it? her lust for life - especially food which she proudly wears for onlookers hoping to be asked about it in order to offer a taste, giving credit to her personal chef.

That pouty little smile - framing a perfect 'handroll'. One eye sparkling while the other focuses internally on her goal of being the 'perfect slave'. All complimented by her unique designer, yet fully functional, 'Haute Couture' wardrobe framing her face with complimentary and perfectly placed rips and as well as stains to better highlight her delicate features.

It may not be everyone's vision of beauty but it's 'real' and natural.

~ Fast Contradiction ~

After 5 pages a note from the other side of the coin. It's not easy to find an individual who would agree to abdicate all personal responsibility, including financial, over to another.

OMG seriously? Look I know you're really intelligent, I usually appreciate your views on things, and I think you made a great point in your post here.

BUT THAT POINT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH LOCKIT

Seriously if you're going to make a point about women who expect their subs to support them, perhaps you shouldn't just grab the nearest femdom for an example - seeing how that femdom has posted that she loves to spoil her boys and that when SHE says 'financially secure' what she means is 'someone who is willing to work for things' and NOT 'someone who is going to fully support her.' Especially since she ALSO said that she would be with an unemployed sub if the circumstance was due to the economy or redundancy and NOT because he was just too lazy or blase about his future to hold down a job.

Seriously. I have no idea why you're bringing Lockit into this. Maybe she looks like your ex? I dunno. But don't undermine your point by trying to drag an innocent woman through the mud - your point stands alone as it is.

submaleinzona -> RE: "Financially Secure" (1/19/2010 5:44:44 PM)

I've been reading through this thread, and other threads like this.  I have to admit that I also find the phrase "financially secure" to be somewhat mystifying, mainly because it's vague and oftentimes misused and misinterpreted.  To be fair, however, there are a lot of profiles which are more specific than that.  Even still there are many which don't even mention finances at all.

What does "financially secure" really mean anyway?  I've always worked.  I've always paid my own way.  I've never leeched off of anyone.  It's just not in my nature to do so.  But I haven't always been the wisest person when it comes to money.

Oh well, I suppose if I ever win the Powerball, I can then change my profile to read:  "Buried treasure!  Torture me to find out where it is."  It might be interesting to see what kind of response that would generate.

Look dude, there was a misunderstanding in the thread.. you're dealing with a woman who is ill and who at times has problems reading and with concentration.

She's also been here for some years and is a very popular and respected poster.

Sorry that you got screwed over by a woman in the past but you know, knock it off with the cheap shots and the projection of the bitterness onto the boards, okay?

Lockit doesn't need it, and I don't think there's many of the rest of us here who want to read it.

Understood?

Please quote any "cheap shots" I might have made, or step the fuck off.

I don't need it either, I have disabilities myself, and I'm raising Two kids by myself, one of whom is severely disabled and requires constant adult supervision, and I can't afford a qualified babysitter so I just don't go out, don't date, etc. Not exactly an ideal situation, but I'm not playing the sympathy card, it's just the facts.

I'm in this situation because I'm a responsible person: I'm not about to stick my kids in foster care so I can be a "real man", and go chasing after a bunch of princesses.

So here I am, on the internet - what's your excuse?

You are to be commended for your commitment to your children.  However, you might want to consider this: if this posting medium is your main form of socialization, don't you think it would make sense to cultivate friends, not enemies?  If you're slower to jump on others, they'll be slower to jump on you.

I'm a sub that mentions a desire for financially secure. I wonder what that makes me???
