I'm sure they'll find a way to blame Bush for it too.

The Obama administration will blame it on an ineffective candidate. Instead they should look in the mirror. They caused this loss. not Martha Coakley.

Obama did.

" People are angry, and they're frustrated, not just because of what's happened in the last year or two years, but what's happened over the last eight years," Obama said.

Well, at least its only 8 years, now he's giving GWB a pass on 9/11.

I cant believe it happened by accident.

LadyE, never underestimate the ability of the United States Democrat Party to step on their own dicks.

perhaps, but it seems to me that what with the health care bill being a total mess and having become, by the work of many self interested and well lobbied hands, far from any notion of what was expected, it might serve very well indeed to have lost this seat, enabled the Reps and so be able in that oh so special way that politics involves, to blame the entire episode and the failure to get it through on the GOP, so prompting widespread public anger and resentment in time for the mid-terms?

or perhaps I should go into politics and keep my devious thought methodologies for my own nefarious purposes

E

If you start with the fact that voters overwhelmingly dont want anything like either bill, both crafted solely by the Dems, you might hold off on a political career, because your thought methodology isnt devious, its vacuous.

They aren't going to do jack. They'll pass the Senate version of the bill unchanged.

Better polish that crystal ball. Pelosi just admitted they don't have near the votes they need to pass the Senate bill in the House.

And if you think anything like a real bill could make it through reconciliation you're not prognosticating, your hallucinating.
