Fast Reply so forgive me if I am repeating someone.
The problem is the way each gender sees the activity. Very few Men have a problem with loose women. Other women have problems with loose women. The majority of the insults I see being used against women who are loose with their sexual wilds are usually coming from other women.
The fact is that Whore and Gigalo are for the most part the same thing. There happen to be more variations for a female then there are for a male.

The Point is that it is a gendercentric concept.
The reason that Men aren't offended by such terms is that most men are not ashamed of being open with their sexuality.
See women are the keepers of sex. Sure there are arguments against this but most of the time these arguments are the exception and not the rule.
Women being the keepers of sex when a Man maintains the ability to have sexual connections easily he is reveared as a champion specimen of the masculine culture.
When women give it up easily being that they are the keepers of sex other women are usually annoyed with them for give up their desired attribute so easily.
I have heard men call women whores and sluts and trollops and what is funny is that I tend to only hear these things when the woman in question is no longer willing to sleep with the man or rather that the woman has decided to take on more than one lover. The other women who most often judge them are usually those who were in envy of the relationship that they had with that man.
Now for the real question...... Why is it you will find women who use a mans genitalia to hurt him and the same in reverse is usually less offensive.
Women will talk about a mans Small dick, his inability to please her sexually, how quickly he comes.
A Man can rarely talk about how small a womans clit is, how she can never get him off, or how quickly she comes, Mostly because none of these things are seen as bad.
So Men get to fuck as many women as they want and it is not a big issue but Women get to judge all men by their gentalia which most man will agree is a deep seeded issue for most if not all men.
I think it is a fair Trade.
