Fast Reply - Anyone else find it strange that Super Bowl half-times and commercials can cause so much controversy? A few years ago all that fuss over a nipple and now this. And in both cases it's all about the female body. hm.....[sm=cheering.gif] I think the network should not air any sort of political ad. Let the game just be entertainment and the various politicking points of view can have their say during regular programming.

As a Floridian and a Gator football fan... it goes without saying that you didn't get to celebrate too often as Tebow kicked ASS for his time at Florida....and the nation had better get used to the fact that the Gators will rule for some time to come... if you ain't a Gator...why you ain't nothing but bait....!

Ok... Congrats Saints!! Now that that is out of the way.. lol I watched the ad. Very benign, non-attacking, and brought a tear to my eye. Beautifully handled, and i did not go to the web site posted at the end. I didnt want my view tainted by whatever may be there. This was about the ad itself.. and.. i can honestly say.. it was touching, endearing and well handled. I congradulate CBS for encouraging Focus on the Family to produce such a sweet message. The words of the ad are listed as follows... quote: PAM TEBOW: I call him my miracle baby. He almost didn't make it into this world. I remember so many times when I almost lost him. It was so hard. Well he's all grown up now, and I still worry about his health. Everybody treats him like he's different, but to me, he's just my baby. He's my Timmy, and I love him. TIM TEBOW: Thanks mom. Love you too. Whatever the FotF web site contains is their business, and they can promote whatever they wish.

I agree. A beautiful ad. Unfortunately, while it was hilarious, you can't get the humor from the transcript alone. It was nothing more than a come-on to visit the website.

I have such a profound dislike for FotF that I don't think I could make an unbiased judgment of the ad.

I can see why CBS allowed the ad but following the link showed FotF's sole reason for producing the ad. It is repulsive and as is well documented a lie.
