Seriously, so what? So you got e-mails from people who agree with you. Guess what, I get them all the time too. That doesn't make any point of view right or wrong. I bet you could make a thread spouting some racist crap and you'd still get some supporters in private. It's pretty easy to agree with something when no one else is looking.

it may have helped me find what i am looking for, we shall see

Oh wait! I see you changed your tagline that went something like "never anthromorphize a subby woman" GREAT start!

The point is that you mentioned it in the context of "Look!!! I've got supporters!!!" and so frikkin' what? What does that have to do with your point of view? Seriously is every post you make an attempt to find a date?

Ok, you can see her (that has been established) but, can you answer her questions?

Hardly unintentional.  I had your number quite a while back, and as I told you then: "so long as you continue to give me so much to work with, I'll be happy to help you out."

I genuinely wish him the best. When he isn't trolling the forums for dates, he can raise a good point. Unfortunately, it seems that 99.9 percent of what he does is troll for dates.

for the other Dominants and whatever

how do you feel when you open a female profile and they insist you write them a literary masterpiece?

i mean i put everything in my profile and journal so i write a few lines of wit and suggest they see my profile

is that so terrible or must i submit to their demands?

Well osf,
First, that's Miss Whatever.

(in all examples "you" is whoever "you" is)

If what you're doing, isn't working, then it's up to you to evaluate whether your stubborn, digging-your-heels-in decision is a warm bed partner on those cold nights.  Are you happy maintaining your absolute dictatorship of one?  If not, perhaps actually seeing another person as a person looking to connect with other people rather than as a demanding autocrat might be a choice.

If you are approaching another person, it is up to you to capture their attention.  If you want to interact with that person, you need to make it worth their while.

It'd be like.... you come up to me at a dinner party and hand me a portfolio of your driving record, SAT scores, a couple of comics that have made you laugh, and a few photos of your porch and say "Read this."  I'm not going to open that portfolio and look at it except maybe with incredulity as my main response.  "Can you believe this guy?  Did he think I cared?"  I'd tell my girlfriends later.

On the other hand, you come up to me, and say, "Hey, I heard that you made the lasagna.  It's good!  I also enjoy cooking.  Do you mind if I ask where you got the recipe?  I'd like to try it."  Then you have engaged me, and you've made it rather real.  I'd tell my girlfriends later, "we had a really cool discussion about cooking.  We're talking about maybe going to a cooking class together."

Whichever one works for you.  I'm sure some gal would be delighted to ponder your Peanuts comic strips and your SAT scores.

best,
sunshine

They really only want to talk to the goose.

Looks delicious by the way.

Speaking of delicious goose, do you like gumbo?

Duck, Duck, Goose-Rustic Style Country Gumbo

Ingredients
•1 cup vegetable oil
•1 cup flour
•1 whole duck breast, skin on
•1 1/2 cups chopped onions
•1 cup chopped celery
•1 cup chopped bell peppers
•4 cups assorted sliced Exotic mushrooms
•1 pound smoked sausage, such as andouille or kiebasa, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch slices
•1 1/2 teaspoons salt
•1/4 teaspoon cayenne
•3 bay leaves
•7 cups dark veal, chicken or duck stock
•1 pound crawfish tails
•1 teaspoon Rustic Rub, recipe follows
•2 tablespoons chopped parsley
•1/2 cup chopped green onions
•1 tablespoon file powder

Directions
Combine the oil and flour in a large cast-iron or enameled cast-iron Dutch oven, over medium heat. Stirring slowly and constantly for 20 to 25 minutes, make a dark brown roux, the color of chocolate. In a hot saute pan, add the duck breast, fat side down, render for about 4 to 5 minutes, or until the fat is crispy. Turn the breast over and continue to cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the duck from the pan and cool. Slice the breast into 1/4-inch slices. Add the onions, celery, and bell peppers and continue to stir for 4 to 5 minutes, or until wilted. Add the mushrooms and continue to saute for 2 minutes. Add the sausage, salt, cayenne, and bay leaves. Continue to stir for 3 to 4 minutes.. Stir the stock into the roux mixture until well combined. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 2 1/2 hours. Skim off any fat that rises to the surface. Stir in the sliced duck, crawfish and Rustic Rub. Continue to simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat. Stir in the parsley, green onions, and file powder. Remove the bay leaves and serve in deep bowls.

Rustic Rub:
•8 tablespoons paprika
•3 tablespoons cayenne
•5 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
•6 tablespoons garlic powder
•3 tablespoons onion powder
•6 tablespoons salt
•2 1/2 tablespoons dried oregano
•2 1/2 tablespoons dried thyme
Combine all ingredients and store in an air-tight container.

*Wonders what time the goose sleeps*

I pretty universally read the sender's profile before replying anyway, and I doubt I'm alone in that.

I usually read the profile before the email. If the profile is totally unappealing, I would delete the email unread.

And I know I'm not alone in that.
