ORIGINAL: IrishMist I still disagree. A person's attitude has alot to do with it. Now granted, I will admit that some disabilities make certain activities impossible ( simply because of the danger that is involved ), but a person can either be upbeat about it, or sit and complain about it on a hourly/daily basis. In other words, have a good attitude, or a bad attitude. A few days ago, I posted a note about how I'd found that people I've known with the persistence to stick with it and an upbeat attitude had all found partners in the scene. I didn't detail it, but the list of success stories includes three people in wheelchairs, three blind people, four with moderate to profound deafness and two with diagnosised mental handicaps. That's just off the top of my head. I suspect there are a number of others who don't come to mind. As an example of upbeat, one of the people who was using wheelchairs has had so many back operations that he'd had a tattoo of a zipper put over his spine. I understand it completely cracked up the surgeon the first time he saw it.
