Belief is a state of mind, it seems to me, and therefore is irrational. I have no problem with that. We all engage in irrationality, all the time. For example, it's irrational to overeat, isn't it? Saying belief lacks reason is a generality and I don't agree with it. One can research and learn, apply their own reasoning based on what they learn, their history, what is logical to them and so on, and still choose to believe. Believing in God does not connote believing in one or any organized religion.

i agree, it does not. I think.. and can only say think because i do not know, but i am hoping its true... that people associate being religious with being of a formal religion. Just because i get baptized in a catholic church does not mean i have to believe in the catholic faith or their core values. it just means i was baptized there.

Even the Board of Education knew what was going on in that school, yet did nothing.
