By the way, as I said earlier, I'm not suggesting we do away with trade. That would be ludicrous especially since the democrats have prevented us from becoming energy independent by blocking nuclear power plants, and increasing Immigration numbers. Without Oil, Coffee, and Sugar, this country would go nuts. It seems that people selectively read and comprehend what they want, then ignore the rest. Personally, I think a fair trade agreement would consist of a 10% increasing to 20% tax on anything sold costing over $500. This would only include luxury items, such as fancy washers, dryers, high dollar tv's, and cars made outside of this country. I would even apply it to foreign owned factories on American soil, since technically, they have no right to purchase American soil or be allowed to build plants here. The dealer in that state would collect the taxes for it. The money would go to state government coffers, since if we gave it to the feds, they would only spend it and want more. If you feed the federal government, it will only get larger and want more. http://babelishere.webs.com
