What is the "Truth"?

Once you've experienced True Love, there is no turning back.

Once you've experienced True Love, you see all other relationships for what they are.

Low self-esteem and loneliness can drive people to make all sorts of compromises to achieve some semblance of true love, but in the end they remain just as lonely and feel just as bad about themselves for they are engaging in a forgery.

It isn't real. It doesn't mean anything. It isn't going anywhere. A barter of services with no emotional meat to it.

It is not True Love.

In the Land of the Blind, how does a man with sight explain "colour"?

And how likely is he to be ridiculed by those who are blind and do not believe him to be sighted?

Holly: That makes a GREAT capstone to this thread.  Yes, he does seem to have "deaf ears."  That's the principal reason we should all stop trying to "get through to him."  Ain't gonna happen.

That might get some answers that you would listen to, although I doubt it since you cast it as a rhetorical question, not needing (in your mind) an answer to replace the one you already have firmly in place.

If this were true then you would not have the right to tell me what to believe.

Clearly you believe it is your right to do so, and I have no difficulty with that. My beliefs are not threatened because your beliefs differ.
