Yes.

As I believe I said in the first post, I've been banned from all the forums.

Oh yes. I remember you

I see one person talking about a love-based paradigm for bdsm, and perhaps thirty individuals doing their best to attack the self-esteem and popularity of ths one individual because he will not say casual bdsm is a viable alternative.

Who is persecuting whom for his beliefs?

1. This board attacks everyone's self-esteem, it's what they do.
2. What popularity? Where? You seem deluded.
3. Show me where a single person is pressuring you to state that "casual BDSM is a viable alternative".

As you have no research to support that claim, you too are expressing an opinion.

I do.. you just refuse to acknowledge it

If so I fail to see why you didn't provide such evidence rather than a vague news report about a study where bias has not been ruled out.

So you refuse to acknowledge that people have been screwing casually since the dawn of time... lol.. risking life and limb to do so. You will not acknowledge that casual sex is something our species and every other is drawn to engage in... okay, dude, whatever

I'm not here for a popularity contest, I am popular in my social circles in the real world, I do not  need to be popular here, do you? I love being in love, I love BDSM with someone I love. BDSM without it isn't my cuppa. Just because it isn't my thing doesn't mean it is "damaging". I have many friends that have engaged in casual sex and did not find it damaging, and to me BDSM is just another form of sex (I know it isn't to everyone, but to many of us it is just sex).

Here is another study for you to attack, and even though you will not accept it, others reading it may get something out of it...
http://journals.lww.com/neuroreport/Abstract/2000/11270/The_neural_basis_of_romantic_love.46.aspx

http://jn.physiology.org/cgi/content/abstract/94/1/327/

There is more going on with "love" and "lust" than you suggest. Lust and love are important to the continuation of the species.. to suggest lust is damaging is just silly talk

quote:

Who is persecuting whom for his beliefs?

I have no problem that you believe lust is damaging for you and some of the people who have been attracted to conversing with you. I do have a problem with you universalizing this experience as applicable to everyone... which is unfounded. It does not matter what I "believe", it matters what the facts bear out, and you have none....

You choose to selectively believe a few people who have reported something unfavorable to you and ignore those who posit that they have experiences contrary to your belief structure. I do participant observation and interviewing in my work, I attempt to at least try to believe what people tell me, and not view their experiences through my belief system...

He did this on another site I'm on, which as he stated, led him to being banned.

He seems to thrive on this and no one has been able to get through to him. If you're not in a 100% committed relationship, if you go to play parties, munches etc. then you're just "casual" and not twue BDSMers.

Speaking of sadists and masochists, blood in the water, sharks and other delightful elements.....

Is anyone else reminded of this guy by a song like this one?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSorJ-SMO4M

Are you talking about The Cat Came Back? The song where they list 101 way to disfigure a cat? Is that what you are saying. You are saying Robert evokes memories of childrens’ song about torture? He has that effect on me too.

-=The cat song general theme=-
Old Mister Johnson swore he'd kill the cat on sight,
loaded up his shotgun with nails and dynamite,
took it up the river in a boat, tied a rope around its neck,
gave it to a man going up in a balloon,
told him for to take it to the man in the moon,
gave it to a man going way out West but the train hit the curve, then it jumped the rail,
Not a soul was left behind to tell the gruesome tale.

[So they step up the torture!]

Across the ocean they did send the cat at last, the boat began to toss, every soul was lost.
The cat had of a family of its own, seven little kittens till there came a cyclone.
The atom bomb fell just the other day, Russia went, England went, and then the U.S.A.
The human race was finished without a chance to pray. But the cat came back the very next day.

I guess you're right. Besides, Robert is a narrow minded sexist stuck in a Male/Dom fem/sub world of love. Wendy is really a man right?

alice... here it is:

alice.. since you emailed me and blocked me before I could respond (what? less than 5 minutes?)

Your cmail me to me says my  body is an amorphous mass not even slightly recalling the female figure.

that I am the ugliest thing to hit this website.

My response was this:

My body type is actually ECTOMORPHIC.  And frankly, insults coming from a non-passable transvestite in denial mean less than nothing to ME, my HUSBAND, my FRIENDS (which I HAVE... ), and my family.

Sorry you are so bitter and lonely.

Greetings,

One does not get banned from every bdsm site easily.

One must argue persuasively in favour of a Love-based paradigm while opposing, persuasively, a Lust-based paradigm.

Evidently, they did not want to be saved from themselves, anymore than than we do.

My name is Robert, tho' I've been known as "BLoved" and "LoveIsAllYouNeed" ("LIAYN" for short).
(Also Bobkgin)

Perhaps that explains why I've remained date-less for two years.

Robert

As I recall, Bob it is not entirely accurate that you have been date-less for 2 years.
I remember you had an involvement with a woman that ended badly and you were quite public about her issues as you perceived them.

edit: clarity
