under a NWO there is no "leaving" it.

So you are saying that the community that this pub owner lives in has no right to make standards for the public health... should he be allowed to keep a nasty kitchen? Should he be allowed to serve steak that is so old it makes someone sick? What should we do with people that flout the public health and will not agree to abide by the law? Just let them?

people can and do shop elsewhere.  so sure why not.

I would rather have the NWO than live in the Universe you propose... NWO, Bring it on!

Your ideal universe sounds like a scary weird world to me

"Get a parking ticket oh it's the NWO "

Hmmm. Let me help you with that foot.

You pay taxes, you pay and pay and pay, license fees and all that. This is public property. In a truly just system, if your parking impedes traffic, there is nothing wrong with it, it is a matter of you impeding the rest of the public from using the road conveniently. I can fully understand that.

Now (the axe falls), explain to me why there is a parking meter on the curb ?

So to ensure public safety and efficient use of our transpotation system, you need to put in a couple of coins. Explain that. My ancestors and I paid for that spot, and now you rent it to me ?

You get jail for not paying TV licence, so no.

I find that peculiarly abominable.

But then, this country jails folks for not separating recyclables or for filling in a swamp that isn't even a swamp, so we're catching up fast.

but money is THE most important thing on earth.  the dude would lose sales and go under if he did not serve the REAL customers.  He has no obligation what so ever to serve YOU.  You would have to pay him MORE then what the existing people will pay them.

See?

And while we're jailing folks for smoking, why not for posting on kink sites? I mean, why can't a community just up and decide that that's bad, m'kay? Uganda is doing it with gays. Life sentence or even death for repeat offenders. If we can jail folks for allowing smoking, surely we can jail folks for allowing others to surf CollarMe in a coffee house. Community decides, right?

centralized power is akin to abolishing private property.

To pay for the public transport people should be using instead to get into town. To pay for the parking wardens to ensure people aren't just parking where they like.

Councils can levy such charges how they see fit, personal choice determines if you need to pay them or not. Most parking meters came about from the idea that it's ok to park somewhere for a short time but not all day.

That's a false comparison. On the one hand you have a set of activities that people have agreed and consented to, where the people are only harming themselves by what they agree to do, on the other you have people imposing the consequences of their needs onto others.

Try spanking a non consenting party in public and see where you end up.

Idiots that don't know that police cars have been invented?

So ?

It isn't like you need them for the car to function.  It is harder to ticket if they cant quantify the item- and why make it easy?  make em work for the fine extraction that they do.

this puts the case succinctly (and you can pogo away happily to it) - a great cover !
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16u0wwCfoJ4

most (if not all) countries imprison lawbreakers - so they are all "police states" by your calculation - so get more tin foil in, it could get frisky
some serious paranoia on here at the moment... has the bad weather interrupted medication deliveries?

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: Pub landlord is first person in Britain to be jailed over smoking ban Read more: http://www.dailyma (2/28/2010 10:56:59 AM)

Perhaps because the fine for not having the plate could be instant jail whereas a speeding/parking fine just hits your wallet.

By my estimation I pass at least one police car in traffic per month, do you really think they aren't going to notice every time? You'll get caught within two months tops.

pahunkboy -> RE: Pub landlord is first person in Britain to be jailed over smoking ban Read more: http://www.dailyma (2/28/2010 11:00:11 AM)

So do I.  But they are not out to get me.   My town is not NWO.

The streets have to be maintained, and parking along streets causes wear and tear on the road surface where these parking spaces are located. People also discard trash along the road. Patrolling of the streets also costs money... all these things must be paid for. There is no free lunch, you cannot expect to tread on other people's contributions without making your own for the next generation... if you did this would make you a leech on the system

So people can sell whatever toxic shit they like and call it wholesome? They can sell arsenic as vitamin C and that would be okay with you because when people noticed their hair falling out they could just buy something else... what a load of irrational horseshit

Of course it is. There's never been an authoritarian state in the whole of history that didn't claim to be into collectivism, after all.

"my town is not NWO"

ah, that is what they want you to believe.... I doubt towns confess to NWO presence - they aren't akin to the Lions or Rotary Club after all...... mainly because they don't exist other than in the delusions of mentally unstable individuals

if they existed and weren't interested in you - what would THAT say about you? Pretty insulting really!
