Its a fucking ploy, if you cant dazzle someone with your brilliance baffle them iwth yout bullshit and when they can see through it all like glass break the argument down to below stoopid and when all else fails sling shit and hope something will stick.  Including name calling.

When I first read Heretic's post I assumed he was talking about you, but then Panda started crying because he thought it was about him, and thats when I realized just how much you and he are alike. Its been a long time since I laughed so hard...

Bullshit, Julia, but thanks for illustrating the exact behavior I was describing.  Your post that came to mind elsewhere had nothing to do with your UM (this was the first I've heard that he had health issues), but you are certainly willing to pull him out now to try to make me look like the bad guy.

I started the thread to discuss the behavior, I'm not claiming that I'm like Gandhi or anything. I didn't take a vow to become angelic overnight, the gist is that I am willing to moderate my behavior if others want to try as well.

Some things are too funny not to point an laugh at though, like MM getting all huffy when people respond to his insults in kind, or Panda and julia both assuming that Rich was discussing them, or YOU rolling around in the exact same muck you're trying to tar and feather me for getting my hands dirty in.

The funniest thing about making jokes around here is watching them sail right over your completely humorless head and cause you to get all huffy and indignant. I'll give you this much, what you lack in honesty, common sense, and rationality, you more than make up for with comedic value.

first, i have to say that i didn't read the thread you referred to in the op. either i wasn't running about the forums then, or it didn't catch my eye. this thread did, however, because i agree with you that flaming and insults should be spared for inside jokes or hijacking threads in good fun. it's never constructive in a conversation, argument, whatever, to be mean-spirited.

that said, you could've easily put your point across without giving us a play-by-play of whatever thread got you riled up. the fact that you named names and essentially tattled to the internet how mean you feel these people are made me instantly lose respect for you.

If you research the posts that I made about being on government assist it was because I was laid off with a child that had asthma.. those were the posts I made on the subject. If you did not intend to throw that in my face then why saying I "worked the system" and had bragged about it in a thread where we were talking about welfare reform...

This is the last time I will address it, unless you email me on the other side, the mod emailed me for posting to you about it on that other thread. I won't disrespect her on this one.
