and we are in endless wars.  They will never ever end.   That makes YOU an accessory.  You have done nothing to stop it. So blood is on your hands.

As fucked up as this should seem to sound, you can't help but sometimes wonder.

JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs are terrorist organizations.

you fund them too.

Wrong again, wacko.

Seriously--

For Christ's sake, pahb, every fucking thread, every fucking topic, you post the same shit, time and time and time again.

Start your own damn NWO thread, your own gold/silver thread, your own Alex thread and when you've got a thought, post there, instead of spreading your shit over every over thread.

Come on.

And what the fuck are you doing? Sitting on your ass typing away at a computer. When you organize a protest of importance, hire a constitutional lawyer and address this issue under U.S. law, or DO something productive...then you can say something like that. Until you do that, you ARE in the EXACT SAME POSITION that you just decried. YOU are as much an accessory.

Shut the fuck up already.

Well, like many, I am waiting to hear more about the arrests.

But I can say this, without even knowing any of the details; These accused terrorists, like Jose Padilla (yeah, bangin' THAT drum again!) should be given Constitutional rights, access to the court system, presumption of innocence, and habeas corpus.

But that's what makes me a liberal, I guess.

No, Animus, you're missing their point on this one---

It's the government picking on a poor militia group. They're all for the terrorists on this one.

If you figure it out, please explain it to me.

If by they you mean pahb and realone, then I certainly would agree with that statement.

Edited to remove what was already posted..

Very interesting indictment. Obviously their alleged plan should be considered terrorism, and should be scorned.

I called it interesting because there are a couple things that jumped out at me.

They are charged with possessing WMDs, not with trying to obtain them. According to the indictment IEDs are now considered weapons of mass destruction. WTF? Why not just charge them with possessing bombs with the intent, and with bomb making materials with intent?

I am all for getting asshats like this off the streets and out of the population, but changing the definition of WMDs is a strange way of doing that. It makes me wonder what other definitions will be changed and for what purpose.

I also noticed that there isn't any mention of the threats that were reported yesterday, which means that the Muslim population was scared for no reason by the government or that somebody was attempting to score some sypathy and political points. This is a very troubling concept.

The allegations in the indictment read:Read Indictment Here

quote:

At all relevant times described herein, there existed an organization known as the "HUTAREE", based in Lenawee County Michigan, wich is an anti-government extremist organization which advocates violence against local, state, and Federal law enforcement.

Or that the news organization found weapons more compelling than threats.

You're starting to see a conspiracy around every tree that wait---could have been one there....why isn't there one!?

pahunkboy -> RE: MI militia raided by FBI (3/29/2010 9:22:32 AM)

I am waiting to see what Alex says.

He talked about the death of former rep- that she was gonna blow whistle on bounty for UMs.

He spoke of his site attacked over his CNN post.

Tim, I am rereading the actual indictment, which I linked to in my last post. Like I have said any threats made by these nutjobs should be treated as acts of terrorism. If there were threats made, they should have been charged with those as well.

No news organization involved in the writing of the charges....

Ah. Missed that.

Sorry.

Here is what I've found interesting about this story:

If you all can remember, a few months ago the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a report stating that one of the greatest threats to this country was not from foreign terrorists, but from internal right-wing extremist groups which included ex-military or those with military type training and religious zealots. What I remember most about that announcement was how indignant Fox News was about how the Obama administration was disrespecting veterans and that this was an organized attempt by the liberal administration to disparage Conservatives. According to Fox, this was the story. I had to watch CNN to find out what the DHS was even talking about. Eventually the DHS had to come out with an "apology" statement in response to all the false outrage by Fox.

Then, a few weeks later a couple of right-wing nuts killed an abortion doctor and a couple of security guards at the Holocost Museum. Glen Beck and Bill O'Reilly that night tried to distance themselves from all the vitriolic rhetoric that they spew. Only Sheperd Smith had enough integrity to admit that Fox was probably wrong and that the network's outrage in killing the story did not serve the public.

I am quite positive that the FBI, Southern Poverty Law Center, and other law enforcement and watchdog groups were monitoring the activities of this MI Militia and others, and the public will remain in the dark until the shit hits the fan. I don't know who is more to blame - Fox or the people who believe that this is a "fair and balanced" news organization.

Getting back on topic...

quote:

Christian militia members charged in Michigan

DETROIT (Reuters) – Nine members of a Christian militia group were indicted on charges of conspiring to wage war against the U.S. government, federal prosecutors said on Monday.

According to the grand jury indictment unsealed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the eight men and one woman were members of a group called the Hutaree that planned to kill a police officer in Michigan and then ambush the law enforcement officers who attended his funeral.

The indictment said the group believed the attacks would "serve as a catalyst for a more widespread uprising" against the government.

Eight people were arrested by the FBI over the weekend in raids in Michigan, Ohio and Illinois. One of the accused, Joshua Stone, 21, is still at large.

full story

Evidently they had a good bit of information to go on before the raids.

pahunkboy -> RE: MI militia raided by FBI (3/29/2010 3:20:24 PM)

Why are Christians singled out?

that doesn't seem fair.

Musicmystery -> RE: MI militia raided by FBI (3/29/2010 3:21:27 PM)

Talk to the militia leaders.

Maybe they'll instigate an Equal Opportunity clause when they get out.

Militia Raids Part Of Government Effort to Provoke Violence, Purge Dissent

federal law enforcement officials in an effort to act as a “catalyst for a more wide-spread uprising against the government.” The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force carried out a series of raids on group members in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio over the weekend.

Comments made by a well known former militia leader indicate that the Hutaree were regarded by other militia outfits as radical and reckless “low-hanging fruits”./snip

So there ya go.  Low hanging fruits.
