No.

The final obstacle Buddha faced to his enlightenment, and the most difficult, the greatest demon, was his own ego.

That's just what I said!

Can't you and I both touch the Earth?

(preferably together)

Well you already hate me and that's not very Buddhist of you.

You're going to be a dung beetle.

Let go of the pebble grasshopper and be one with it instead.

Perhaps.

quote:

Five Fundamental Conditions of Passions and Delusions: 1. Wrong views which are common to triloka; 2. Clinging or attachment in the desire realm; 3. Clinging or attachment in the form realm; 4. Clinging or attachment in the formless realm which is still mortal; 5. The state of unenlightenment which is the root-cause of all distressful delusion.

And thus we enter the paradox that is discussed in the dharma-dhatu, the reality of being and non-being, as it is all inclusive can enlightenment ever be attained?

I'm trying.

The fact that we are each here means we are the same. Deal.

Dude got all honky and pissed off at me at the 4-way stop today. It wasn't my turn but the truck next to me was going which meant dude was gonna have to wait anyway. So I went. And ruined his day.

Yet he and I can both touch the same earth at the same time and never again in history will that be true. So which choice to make? Assholic or peace?

We could argue whether the Buddha attained enlightenment. I'm not gonna. But you can't argue that you and I are here together.

There is no need to "attain" it... it can only be denied. Samsara is Nirvana.

Since you are trying are you not the one who is dealing? I'm fine with things. I don't hate you nor anyone for that matter.

That's your choice to make.

I choose balance as much as possible. I believe in Karma but who's ego will cloud it from their own sight.

Yes I am the one who is trying. Yes I am the one who is dealing.

I know you're fine with things!

I think ego will cloud anyone's sight. Mine, for sure.

I do have a choice with you. I thought at first to ignore you because you hurt me before. But I decided not to because you and I are the same. Here.

Well I won't argue that the hurt feelings are your responsibility and I have no power to do anything that you don't allow but I will ask you to look into why you were hurt by those words to begin with. Were you doing something that wasn't nice? Regardless of the answer..I wasn't out to hurt you.

Exactly. It was all my responsibility. This is just what I'm saying.

That is the suffering that is the bullshit. "Suffering" as in un-rightness or un-peacefulness.

And I will wear my responsibility and still respond to you because you and I are both here, which means we have something to love (cripes this sounds so hippy peacnik), but seriously, you won't feel value after it's all dust.

Yes, you are. You are here with me. And it will never happen again. Chortle.
