Now, I know this isn't your case due to your location. I don't find that to be true in most cases. When looking at the location most folks give, they are within hours of being able to get to those clubs and munches. It really boils down to they want to do it so bad, but again, lack effort. To Me, that's a half assed approach. See, I've made the drive from Colorado Springs to Denver to go to My first major event. I've gone from Augusta to Atlanta so that I could go to the public club. Even now, I drive two hours one way to go to the munch I attend in Bakersfield, three hours to San Jose if I want to go to a public club, and four hours so that I can experience something like the Folsom Street fair. I'm very much a 'if I want something bad enough, I'll go out and get it' type.
In your case, I absolutely understand that your location is an issue. However, the majority of the time, that just plain isn't how it is. For example, in the continental United States, very few folks would be anywhere that there isn't some functioning BDSM group that isn't within driving distance. Lacking that, there's no address in this country that UPS doesn't deliver to.
Between you and I (well, and the rest of the board really) when someone like you comes along and it really IS the only source that you have to use, it tends to irritate Me just a bit more that there is another group of folks who have every resource that they could possibly hope for, but just don't utilize. Part of Me thinks that you might just love to have what they have available, but for one reason or another, just don't follow through.
Should you ever be in My part of the world, we'll see to it that you get your opportunity.
