Are there people out there who I wouldn't feel are submissive enough for Me in particular?  Yes, I do.  That's called incompatibility.  Are there people out there who aren't Dom enough?  Yes, and I wouldn't put them in control of My cat.  Not every Dominant is a good Dominant.  That's just the truth of the matter.

Wow! It's possible to be in control of a cat? That's news to me.

I respond to the post topic or additional posts in the thread...I don't run a profile check on the person... Instead of discussing a topic it became personal... I understand this on a thread like "a fake Domme" where the OP is making it personal, but not when it's a topic.

This was probably not the ideal place to say this...or I probably should have kept my thoughts to myself...but being told to STFU in the same thread the OP was shredded... it just kinda spilled out.

I also picked up on his humor.

I read that domiguy post as an attempt to send-up domineering "doms."  If you found it unfunny, best perhaps to say so directly to him.

In the meantime, I will be your cyber white knight, and ridicule him because he spells "yetti" the way Jeff would, and he doesn't know the difference between Nepal (home of the yeti) and the Pacific Northwest (home of the Bigfoot captured in the film he has posted screencaps from).

ROFL...That was the first thing I thought when I saw the pics, but I didn't have the balls to say it because I thought I was the only one nerdy enough to notice such details.

I'm not asking anyone to stop being who they are, or to stop having a laugh and enjoying the sarcastic humor... I am asking that you be a little more tolerant to those of us still trying to find our way.

jb.... I believe you put some authentic thougths and feelings out there with regards to the response that you see as some what harsh and even uncalled for. I think that in some cases, the mob effect takes hold and also I think that sometimes some people have some individual opinions that just happen to be similiar and they react similiar to the sitaution.

In this given thread... for the most part... individuals experienced with the forums (which is not neccessarily to say the are experience with this lifestyle) happen to have reacted very similiar. I think one needs to ask why was the reactions so similiar? Was it just a mob kinda of thing? Or was it more?

In my opinion it's not about the mob think tank happening. Even though the individual was looking for input for others vision and philosophy he actually expressed his view in a more "one way approach". This more times than not will not warm oneself to others in an environment where Individual expression of oneself but not at the expense of others is prized and valued.

A second factor is the authentic nature of the person in question. On occasion what a person doesn't say is almost as important as what they say. When their comments or lack of comments open a question of integrity it is difficult to give some benefit of the doubt or even be tolerate towards due to a lack of experience. Regardless of the lack of experience, I don't think it's an excuse for a lack of integrity. This preception.. (accurate or not) will affect how people read anything he has to say. As I implied before, it's easy to through out some catchy phrases that get people to swoon over, but it's much harder to actually live this relationship style successfully for any significant amount of time.

I for one.. find the person first lacking integrity and second... do to the first... I find his quest to listen to others opinions less than authentic. Considering to the "one true" way of his communicating style. It seems to me more of him looking to validiate his opinions than to open his mind to learn.

Granted... one could be alittle more tackful in how they express themselves to this type of person. But again.. in my experience such individual doesn't really respond to that approach.. they tend to just continue on. Two things are likely to occur.. he will disappear and not come back.... or he will disappear with this nic and come back with another and we will not be the wiser. If he comes back with a new nic, he just might adjust his approach to be more authentic and that to me is a good thing. If he doesn't change and never comes back.. that is also a good thing! Of course there is a slight chance... he might keep his nic and stay... he just might show a part of his character that one can be admired for by accepting is errors and learn from them... now this will likely get noted in very postive way. of course... maybe will stay and just continue to dig a grave... but that is highly unlikely.

For the most part... people get what is coming to them sooner or later!

gosh darnit!!! I should have put it together (yeti vs. bigfoot) but I just lumped all of them all together. I know the yeti's feel that bigfoot has stolen a lot of their thunder over the last few decades. there is not a great deal of love lost between the two.

I really felt bad when Vaguely spelled yeti correctly. she comes from a land that is completely yeti and bigfoot free and she has the nerve to upstage me in front of all of these subs and bigfeet (foots) and yetis or yetii? Today I lost face in the community...This Vaguely, is really starting to rub me the wrong way....

What part of old english does that fucker come from....Rub one the wrong way? I truly have enjoyed every back rub I have ever received...Could it be about someone who received a bad handjob back in the sixteen or seventeen hundreds? SEE>>>I am sooooo deep!!!

Anywhoooo, jbcurious, it was not a personal attack. It was supposed to be funny. You posted this...

So I posted STFU!!!....That is me raising my voice....I kill me!!!!

In reality everyone knows that the bigfoots or feet migrated to Asia to get away from the Indians. They are really just the same thing only one is colder.

Jefff, it's true.

While so many routinely come out here to post about the joys of poly or how you must adhere to a certain set of bdsm commandments or if you should shave your male sub? I am toiling in the grit and grime of the underbelly of CM to bring others happiness.

I have seen places that few have dared to go...I have seen where they house the likes of Bob O.o. It's a dark and desolate place, nothing grows there.

Jeffff, you and I, come out here and try and brighten the lives of so many CM'ers and what do we get in return? I'll tell you...We get ridiculed!!! They say that we are trolls or are incapable of spelling very small words like Yeti.

We deserve recognition. We deserve a day!!! Our own day. A day where we will be recognized in front of all of the community for all the years of hard work and dedication that we have have contributed and never having once complained.

We are the future of the Community. There it's been said. I feel vindicated.

I want our fucking Day!!!!

And we should be showered in Gash! Not just any gash, but the finest gash CM has to offer!

I am going to add that to my vision and philosophy!

1. Beat her and Bang her.

2. The Dominate should always be showered in gash!

I'm not sure we can afford an entire day, what with so many worthy people and causes to recognize, but you can have 15 minutes...which was up, well...15 minutes ago.

Precisley...I want the quality gash...not the shit they sell to the indians.

I want the kind of gash that is reserved for the lesbos. What in the fuck is up with that shit???

Every damn woman on this damn thang that weighs less than a buck and a half is only interested in the pursuit of the pooonany.

This shall not stand!!!

I want our day and I want it now!!!!

And there ain't no fucking way that our day should fall on a Monday. That is barely even a day.

I demand a quality day!!!!

I apologize for posting and not being around to respond, I once more fell asleep phone in hand...
Knight, Jeff, RM, Lady P...thanks for taking the time to respond, I appreciate and understand the different view you have of how the thread was responded to.

Lady P...Either you've never been to Ibiza or you know something I don't know...if it's the latter then please clue me in...I've searched extensivly on the internet and have found nothing, I've asked the few people I feel comfortable enough with to discuss the topic, if they were aware of any BDSM activities, nothing...I also seem to be the only person in Ibiza on this site, and even went to Fetlife looking for something or someone and have had no luck.

Domi, I didn't get it at the time...perhaps feeling a little defensive got in the way of my ability to pick up on your humor.

And yes RM...you being my cyber white knight has got me all hot and bothered...with only self relief at hand... Thanks for that.

I am going to ask that you look again at what I said.  Here is the exchange again:

quote:

Many have access to clubs, organizations, friends, munches ect as a way to meet people who are into the lifestyle, as a way to meet potential partners. Some have only CM as a means to learn and meet others.

Now, I know this isn't your case due to your location.  I don't find that to be true in most cases.  When looking at the location most folks give, they are within hours of being able to get to those clubs and munches.  It really boils down to they want to do it so bad, but again, lack effort.  To Me, that's a half assed approach.  See, I've made the drive from Colorado Springs to Denver to go to My first major event.  I've gone from Augusta to Atlanta so that I could go to the public club.  Even now, I drive two hours one way to go to the munch I attend in Bakersfield, three hours to San Jose if I want to go to a public club, and four hours so that I can experience something like the Folsom Street fair.  I'm very much a 'if I want something bad enough, I'll go out and get it' type.

In your case, I absolutely understand that your location is an issue.  However, the majority of the time, that just plain isn't how it is.  For example, in the continental United States, very few folks would be anywhere that there isn't some functioning BDSM group that isn't within driving distance.  Lacking that, there's no address in this country that UPS doesn't deliver to.

Between you and I (well, and the rest of the board really) when someone like you comes along and it really IS the only source that you have to use, it tends to irritate Me just a bit more that there is another group of folks who have every resource that they could possibly hope for, but just don't utilize.  Part of Me thinks that you might just love to have what they have available, but for one reason or another, just don't follow through.

Should you ever be in My part of the world, we'll see to it that you get your opportunity.

A man who is Dominant, not a man who calls himself A Dominant.  Someone who rarely raises his voice because he doesn´t have to. Someone who is admired and respected by his peers and who´s advice is sought.  Never aggressive or bullying... rather quietly confident and assertive.  Someone who understands people and their motivation well enough to push the right buttons to get from them what he desires but is respectful with that ability.

Am I asking for too much?

Yes, but only because he's taken.

Seriously there are men like this and if you keep on looking and screening out those who aren't compatible, you will find one.

I've gone through 7 heavy duty industrial screens this month...and have found the most compatibility in a 22 year old musician in New Zealand and a wonderful man in NYC...on the Spanish side of things my best offer I was to live in a kennel with 5 other women...
