No comment on Dawkins as "one of the greatest thinkers of our day."..not all that familiar with him....isn't he the guy kissing everybody on "Family Feud"?

I could be wrong, but I think it's because you said something not so nice about poor Richard. She seems to think he's one of the greatest thinkers of all time. If she didn't talk so much in her posts, I would think she is really brain.

jesus christ, if this were true we would really be in the dark ages.

people make a gigantic mistake in that if someone is very talented in one field, they must be talented in all fields. this is rarely the case.

there is also a mistake I made in that if someone's criticisms are valid, then their solutions must also be valid, which is just as pernicious.

You are a very angry, disingenuous, intellectually dishonest man. You said earlier that you are an atheist but prefer to call yourself a Catholic because why? Atheists are epistemologically unsound and Catholics (or any theists for that matter) are not? You are a goof...but then again, what do I know?

I'll stick with Dawkins, thank you. He doesn't say dumb stuff.

But I agree with adx, the politics of arresting the Pope…..it’s just not going to happen. I assume Dawkins is of the same opinion, hence the press release as opposed to springing this on the Pope after his arrival.

Status: offline 		Got steel, usually not always. That is such an overdone question. Many(most) athiests claim to believe there is no god, of any sort, based on science. That Science prooves there is no God. Dawkins pretty much falls into that catagory. Yet science can not proove there is no God. If you think it can, please lay out the proof. It is a personal belief, yet they pretend it is based on logic, and hence a fact. Not al Athiests. But almost all of the loud ones.
