As someone active in the real world bdsm scene, I tend to scoff at anyone who uses collars of protection. It tends to be the co-dependant drama queens and the guys who need pathetic women in order to feel powerful that play with this sort of crap.

There isn't a bdsm venue where a naked blindfolded woman isn't safer than a vanilla chick sitting alone at a vanilla bar.

I have men I bounce things off of. They aren't protecting me. If anything they'd be protecting me from myself rather than the other person.
