Real, this is a silly argument - the radar is not a witness but evidence and deemed to be so the same as anything deemed admissible. Speeding offences are (here anyway) strict liability offences - actus reus only required to be proven, which the radar achieves. What you do, if anything, is to acquire things that might help you defend a charge, for instance a) the calibration record for the radar apparatus - here anyway, it has to be regularly calibrated and if it hasnt been then the evidence it produced is ruled unreliable b) evidence of the authority under which the radar apparatus is being operated - more tricky but might appeal to your interests; no authority established by law or bylaw or vested in the operator and youre looking good E
