Oh Boy...Domyngblk.....a post with reason and logic...when will you learn...this is CM...you surely know, when you comment you must interject your comments with insults and foul stupidities in debased foul language, attempting to divert, redirect, intimidate, insult and attack personally, and generally hi-jack the thread. Yup, ....have you ever seen the flick....A Day Without A Mexican.....a light flick. The US needs the illegals.....how else to keep wages down, and profits up. Not only through the exploitations of the illegals, but the USofA citizen as well....why hire you, when I can get Jose' here cheaper. Low wages+less job availability= maximizing profits. And, that's the name of the game. The Dry-wall.......oh yeah, that's a good one, no one but the US citizen pays...the imported China crap, could not be held to US standards in manufacture, as American made products are....NOOOOOOO, already a big issue problem for those who rebuilt after Katrina. And...if you plan on remodeling, or buying new....one question is...Where did the Dry Wall come from? That is going to be, or should be, in the escrow instructions; who is responsible for the dry-wall, origin of manufacture, installation, and/or removal as the case may deem necessary. Well, I don't worry about such things......I always pay my Salvadorian, or Mexican Estate Landscaper in cash.....and I Always buy American......I Shop Wal-Mart...Always.

It's the loss of middle class jobs, the negative effect on wages and competition -- all of which is caused by unchecked LEGAL immigration.

Given the success of Wal-Mart and other discount retailers, I doubt Americans are willing to pay what it would cost to "let the market" fix this. Truth is--this IS the market's solution. Much higher consumer prices would also slow the economy--depressing the job market.

They will pay them more than the prevailing wage there but significantly below what is paid here. Consequently places like the Phillippines, Ireland, South Africa and Australia are chronically short of trained medical professionals.

Most if not all businesses would be able to increase top line revenues quickly with a healthy dose of inflation. The higher consumer prices would drive higher wages as well as increased consumption. In todays market why would you buy anything today when you have a good chance that the price may be equal tomorrow or lower. I certainly keep little or not inventory around now for that basic fact. I let my supplier be my warehouse......Turn that around and sure....I will buy a bit extra cause I have a good idea that the price is going up....hence my supplier has lower inventories which he needs to cover.....and so on and so on......We've bought so much into the Reagan/Wally World model that we can't find our way back to reality.

And that's exactly what happened in 1986, with Reagan's "Immigration Reform and Responsibility Act." For the first time in this country's history, American citizens had to produce "documents" to earn their bread. And it was all in the name of "controlling immigration," which did not happen. Now I'm gonna have to carry a special indestructible card approved by the federal government under the same absolutely-false premise. Unless they secure the borders, I know it's all false. And if it's all false, why should the impositions be forced upon American citizens? We already gave up the Fourth Amendment in the name of the fake "war on drugs," and I don't want to give up anything else based on false premises.
