What I found interesting about the NY Daily News editorial is that they in many cases, they failed to mention US citizenship. I think almost everybody on that list actually is a US citizen.

They also listed a number of people as "convicted" without mentioning that they actually were only convicted of minor charges after the major terrorism charges were dropped. One of the "terrorists" in that editorial was actually an FBI double agent.

and therein lies the point of my sarcasm

its the way the guv operates to justify the increasing police state.

Arrest them on one charge to scare the hell out of people and in this case for all intents and purposes charge them with the equivalent of a parking ticket and let them go.

Now will the MSM news inform anyone of the released on a traffic ticket, of course not.

They just let the original bogus charges fester in everyones heads so the lasting thought is against whomever the target is.

(and there is always an fbi instigator who tries to get the targets to do something illegal in a setup operation just like in the 93 WTC bombing where they were busted on tape supplying him with real explosives)

AND THE DUMB ASSED PUBLIC DID NOTHING!

Its state terrorism against the people.

McCain is a desperate old man who has stayed too long in the Senate and, being seriously challenged for his position, will now say anything or assume any position, including bending over and holding his ankles, in order to hang on to past glories.

Which also describes his Presidential campaign.

According to AP the suspect was a Bush hater.

quote:

Shahzad's behavior sometimes seemed odd to his neighbors, and he surprised a real estate broker he hardly knew with his outspokenness about President George W. Bush and the Iraq war. "He mentioned that he didn't like Bush policies in Iraq," said Igor Djuric, who represented Shahzad in 2004 when he was buying a home.

Djuric said he couldn't remember the exact words Shahzad used about Bush but "something to the effect of he doesn't know what he's doing and it's the wrong thing that he's doing."

So... he's quite possibly a left wing extremist.

when the final manifest got to customs, a customs agent caught the man's name on the no fly list, the plane was brought back to the terminal, he was arrested, read his rights and taken into custody.

What is Sen. John McCain screaming about?

That he was read his rights, as an American citizen, which by the way he was, he became a citizen last year.

Strangely McCain doesn't seem to grasp that if the man had not been read his rights, he would have walked on a legal technicality.

Perhaps McCain had wanted and expected the suspect to escape from the country? It makes me wonder what the relationship between the suspect and McCain is.

Bullshit. If you consider yourself a "sovereign citizen" and not a citizen of the United States then your criticism has no standing.

How can you charge the State with terrorism when "sovereign citizens" lie down with that murdering dog Terry Nichols?

You lie down with dogs you smell like a dog.

Your politics are despicable. People on this Board pander to your nonsense because they do not understand the sedition that lies at its heart.

Vincent, and just like John Kerry he's going to find out that "flip-flopping" doesn't work. I don't know when Kerry is up but I doubt the people of Massachusetts will put him back in office again.

P.S. they just said on the news that Faisal Zhahaid ***was*** against Obama's healthcare bill!
Man, that Mayor Bloomburg was spot on about it being a "right-wing militiaman who is against Obama's healthcare plan" wasn't he?
Wow! Bloomburg is *good!*

Homeland security DID finally catch the name, after it went to a HOMELAND SECURITY agency, or are you too dense to realize that?   Every step of the process prior to that was not part of the TSA or Homeland Security.  IF the airline would have updated their list after being notified that there had been a change to the list, his name would have been flagged before he got near the plane.

The airline has admitted they did not update the no fly list and thus, according to the list they had, he was not on it.

NOW, for the last time, considering you are throwing insults around, any fool or idiot can see for the entire process to be fool proof, the TSA would have to be present at every step of the process from reservations to ticket pickup to boarding passes.  The TSA updated their list, which is a data base, as soon as the change had been made.  The fact that the TSA does NOT have access to the ticket information until AFTER the final manifest is handed over would indicate that the TSA should, per YOUR argument, be present at every stage.

The reservation people are to report a person who is on the no fly list is attempting to purchase a ticket, the ticket counter people are to notify TSA if someone on the list picks up a ticket, and the people handing out boarding passes are to notify TSA if someone attempts to board a plane who is on the list.

ALL OF THIS WORKS ONLY IF THE AIRLINE UPDATES THEIR LIST WHEN NOTIFIED OF A CHANGE.

The only way to correct the problem is to replace airline personnel with TSA personnel at every stage of the process, and are you willing to pay the increased taxes to cover the expense?

Popeye, seems that John Kerry is up this November. "flip-flopping" is too mild a term. I always found him to be among the most artificial, pandering opportunists of the political class.

Don't understand why the New York City council suspended the term limit rules and allowed Blooms to run again.... what? Follow the what? Oh, the money. Of course.

Have a good evening Popeye.

Yes, it makes me wonder too.

What kind of bizarre conspiracy theory can we attribute this to?

Were they gay lovers?  Is John McCain a secret agent for the Taliban?  Maybe McCain just utterly despises New Yorkers and hired the guy as a hit man to take out as many as possible.

Oh wait, how silly of me.  The answer is right in front of my face.  There were a number of people in Times Square who could testify there were no airplanes on 9/11 and they had to be silenced.

And most of them had mutilated their penises by circumcision.

Wait, they just played a clip of Mayor Bloomburg on the Michael Savage show and he did say ,..."homegrown" terrorist.
Well, he could be considered a "homegrown" terrorist only his "home" was in Pakistan.
And Dr. Savage said he lied on his paperwork to become a U.S. Citizen so the govt should revoke his citizenship. I don't think anyone would be against that!

P.S. Dr. Savage played another tape of the Mayor saying , "it could be a mentally deranged person (s)." Well, again, he was right there!
But,...oddly,...in none of the tapes does Mayor Bloomburg mention the words "Muslim" or "Middle East!"
Isn't that odd?

It is very easy to show how you reject the Ocnstitution of the United States real.

Section III art 1.

"The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behavior, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office."

And that Supreme court has thrown out every bit of nonsense you post, about un ratified amendments the illegality of taxes, Sovreignity. every bit of it.

Accordign the the Constition, The USSC decides these things, not some dumb ass on the Web. You reject thier rulings. You have declared yourself to be an authority, and a judge many times. QED, you reject the Constitution.

[sm=rofl.gif] Oh, what a good laugh you give me to end the evening, you feeble, silly clown. Thank you for the giggle.

When I first produced this article by the Anti Defamation League pointing out the origins of all the befuddling bullshit you have been spouting on these Boards, you did not deny my assertion that the article contained an accurate portrayal of your precepts. Oh no! You attacked the ADL as a Communist promoting organization, returning to the tactics of the Joe MacCarthy era for your smear.

Now you disavow the label "soverign citizen" but again not the precepts contained in the article. You attempt to obfuscate the issue by claiming that I do not read the laws and I am an enemy of the state, when time and again it is you who has declared The United States as illegitimate. How pathetic the worm's attempt to wriggle off the hook. Have you not expressed the opinion, nay the assertion, that you reject the 14th Amendment's definition of "citizen of the United States?" Yes, you have. And have you not most recently declared that the county sheriff is the ultimate law figure and none above him? Yes you did.

And aren't these concepts discussed in the article? Yes they are. Do you disavow them now? No you do not.

What is your rebuttal? It is that the ADL is a communist promoting organization and that I am an enemy of the State. Typical smear tactics to be expected from such a bullshit artist.

Come on, tell the truth. Wasnt the murderer Terry Nichols a hero figure deep in your dark soul? I say again, you lay down with dogs you smell like dogs.

And I repeat, whatever you call your idealogy this evening, you have placed yourself grandly, proudly, arrogantly and repeatedly outside the citizenship of the United States. You have spewed it over and over like a broken sewer pipe. The United States Government is illegitimate and you can prove it by commonlaw and maritime law and whatever other figment of your smug imagination.

Inasmuch as you have opted out of the jurisdiction of the Federal Govt you have no standing to criticize it. Have I made my point clear enough? You have no standing to criticize. You are a freakin alien, albeit well-documented. LOL!!!

Not really funny though. Your political philosophy is despicable and tragic.

Actually, the procedures that were in place requiring that airlines only check the no fly list every 24 hours for changes were put in place under the previous Director of Homeland Security, under Bush and Chaney.

But then if it was okay for the Bush administration it is not okay for the present administration.

Rates right up there with the Bush administration policy of reading terrorist suspects their miranda rights.

Rates up there with Senator Joe Lieberman who wants terrorism suspects stripped of their citizenship... oh, by the way he is a Republican who is planning to introduce such a bill at noon tomorrow.

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in ANY Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

get it?
