REPEAT POINT

Lets recap.

The dude is a government writer.

Simple enough. He us funded by the govt and he writes. Just about every reply here is contrary to his truth. So you figure it out.

REPEAT POINT

The government isn't one of my clients, that'd represent a conflict of interest. What you're using is inductive fallacy. Your, "he's funded by the government, and he writes" rubbish would be like accusing everybody that posts here of being a writer for their employers. The real world doesn't represent the nutcase moonbat conspiracy theory that you think it is, think about that.

Also, this isn't "my" truth. The opposition is going against THE truth in their arguments. So YOU figure that out.

No he stated any amount multiplied by zero results in zero, so multiply infinity by 0 and tell me what you get.

Amount, as in number value dumbass. Infinity isn't a number value, but a series of numbers, each of these numbers representing an amount. The fact that math was never one of your strong points painfully shows.

Yes- but were you THERE?

This entire thread is based on the OP being "there" whatever that accounts for. Some say alot- others are less sure.

My having made a recent combat deployment to Iraq, as opposed to the opposition not having been there, makes a BIG difference in the validity of our positions. It's THAT simple, and it's supported by both common sense/logic. Arrogance is what keeps the opposition in the fight.

You aren’t changing that region, if you are it isn't going to last long. The natives know which side their bread is buttered on. Their choices are the corrupt administration that can’t protect them or the Taliban, big choice that one.

It's hard to admit you've been fighting a pointless war, I understand that. One day you'll look back on this and wonder how different your attempts were than the Soviet occupation.

You have such a limited mind if that is the way you think.

Arithmetic operations are only performed on numbers? A x 2 = 0.

A is a variable that represents a number in this algebraic formula. To determine that number you perform arithmetic operations on the other numbers. You have such an imprecise understanding of mathematics if you think otherwise.

Exactly. Letters are used when any number could be represented in the equation. For instance, 6a = 12. What number would go into "a"? In this case, "a"=2, a number. (6)(2)=12. Infinity isn't an amount, but a series of "amounts" shooting from one end or the other on the number line, or axis, and going on without stop. No matter how the turd tries to spin this, my statement stands.

Facechair, Joe Biden was on Jay Leno last night and said that there are now about 60,000 Troops in Iraq and that by "next summer" there would be "none!"
Any scuttlebut about sending you guys down to that Mexican border?

And that's in keeping with the treaty with Iraq that we entered in 2008. All combat units must be out of Iraq by the end of August, 2010. I've heard no scuttlebutt about going to the Mexican Border; we're due for a 2 year dwell time from any deployment... if they break that dwell time, it'll be for a deployment to Afghanistan. Speaking of scuttlebutt, I doubt that thompsonx understands what that means, as he's never served in the Navy or the Marines. He's already admitted to not being in the Army.

A degree in statistics. Yeah right. LOL

And a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (dont bother googling it, actuaries work with....statistics!!!!)

It also works in the business world. Those involved with Lean Six Sigma would've gotten exposed to some statistics, those involved with quantitative analysis would also get exposed to some statistics.

Arguing numbers with someone that has no idea how many Taliban there are, fun but also fruitless ya Tosspot.

So says the turd who consistently advances inductive fallacies, and conclusions, arguments, and premises that are factually challenged. Dummy was in Minnesota, or somewhere else in the States while I was combat deployed to Iraq, he has never served in the military... or if he has, he's never combat deployed, he has absolutely no clue about what's going on in Iraq, yet here he is pulling crap out of his arse.

Let me remind you again... while you were living a comfortable life here in the United States, yapping crap through your computer screen onto the forums here, while benefiting from the comfort that your walls provided you... I was combat deployed to Iraq. I saw things, experienced things, and witnessed things you never would've seen, experienced and witnessed.

HENCE, if you disagree with what I'm saying here, it's not because you "have" the "truth" and the "facts." Because you don't. It's because you're WRONG, just as the rest of the opposition is. You'd have to be extremely arrogant if you think that your half backed ideas about the topic we're debating on has "more" validity than my boots on the ground experience.

Putting "fact" in that quoted sentence is equivalent to saying something like this: "The 'fact' that Santa Clause 'exists.'" You may not think this way, but that's how critical thinking people would interpret your quote.

You also have to prove someone "wrong" before you could fart out how others are "wrong." No matter how you try to slice and dice this, my conclusions have been dead accurate, my arguments have been chock full of facts, and have been reliable throughout the entire time I've been debating on this and other message boards.

But but but life in the west would disintegrate overnight unless we fight this war bla bla bla.

Why don't the op let us see what happens when they stop fighting this war, we'll see how drastically different our lives are.

Stop fighting this war I dare you.

Because- Iraq stopped selling oil in dollars.   Throw in a central bank to boot.

Follow the money.

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: Back from Iraq for a short time, ready to answer your questions if you have any... (7/12/2010 5:29:57 PM)

Iraq wasn't about oil it was about western self-righteousness (look at our democracy it's great you too can have it, here let me impose it).

“What you want us to leave now?? But you need us we make you safer, it’s a known fact that terrorists picking a fight with the coalition in Iraq is good for the average Iraqi.”

If the op took his head out of his arse for five minutes he might realise what a robot like numpty he has become or probably always was. Born to be used by the government, nooo self determination or critical thought. Just does what he is told even sees what he is told to see. A waste of humanity.

Much of Iraq was about the dollar.  It is not backed by anything.   For 30 years oil was required to be priced in dollars.   Once the 30 years was up- Iraq ended pricing in dollars.  Iran is doing the same thing.

SL4V3M4YB3 -> RE: Back from Iraq for a short time, ready to answer your questions if you have any... (7/12/2010 5:44:14 PM)

Conspiracy theories obscure the simple truth.

Every time someone mentions such a theory there is someone in government (who deserves to be hung from a lamp post by their bollocks for their choices) rubs their hands together in glee.

The dollar is the reserve currency of many governments it doesn't need to be backed by oil, this simple fact is the same reason your government can spend, spend, spend whilst the rest of us are tightening our belts.

Are you crazy?

It is just green paper.   No gold.    Pretty green paper.  That is it.

REPEAT POINT.
No, you have not put one fact in evidence, you have not told the truth, absolutely inaccurate, and unreliable. Your inaccuracies, outright lies, and convoluted backpeddling and buncombe have been repeatedly been pointed out here, however.  And  you obviously havent served in a combat capacity in Iraq, it is clear from your writing and ignorance of how some basic things work in the military.
REPEAT POINT.

Actually it does matter, you should've followed your initial intention instead of going against your better judgment.
You are adorable.  Full of shit to the eyeballs, but adorable nonetheless.

May I continue to giggle at least?

You should worry more about putting your adult britches on and understanding what you read in an adult forum; rather than giggling like a kid at something that you don't understand.
:::::giggle:::::

I giggle at you because I understand far more than you will ever know.

Bless your heart.
