I think my earlier reply to you and my reply to Sanity answered my feelings on that. You seem to believe that criticizing a religious institution somehow equates to dictating what they can preach. A free society does not dictate dogma to religious institutions but it has become far too prevalent that religious institutions dictate dogma to a free society. You only need to look at groups like the Family Research Council for proof of that.

What? Society and the changing of the times has always dictated what is being preached. There was a time when the pill, pork and divorce were trumped up as evils by most mainstream religions. Very few churches speak currently about the evils of swine, birth control and now the catholic church conveniently allows marriages to be annulled even after years of marriage and children so that you can once again get remarried within the church.
