Its bull shit for you to make excuses for racists like Wright and Sharpton just because they favor your personal politics domi. You can't say they wield no power, and thats no excuse anyway. If its wrong then its wrong. No excuses. Thats the main difference between the right and the left right there, the left continually redefines things so they can convince themselves that they're getting away with all their hatred and bigotry and racism and all these other horrible things, but they're only fooling of themselves. The right, while we're not always perfect, we have one single standard that we try to live up to. And the fact that we don't always make it, thats alright. At least we try to be honest about things.

But you aren't being intellectually honest. There are those of us who can recognize the ignorance in religious teachings regardless of the race of the messenger. We don't discriminate, but we think critically about root causes. You and your ilk can only recognize the ignorance in the message of the non-white messenger, which also makes you a bigot.

But you do it continually when you support the right Christian movement and don't call them on the carpet. I don't dig the white devil, jew banker rhetoric. But I can understand from where it stems from. It is not a whitewash or a pass. It is simply an understanding of their past and present conditions that must and have been endured. You can't understand this? I understand that the bible says that a marriage is between a man and a woman. But where is the proverb that states we should hate our brothers and sisters? It is as wrong for the Wrights just as it is as wrong for the rights. Got it?

We've still all got the instincts for it, black, white or chartreuse. The basic emotional trigger is fear and jealousy, and responding to racist dialog with anger and threats (even against racism itself) tends to aggravate the situation. Therefore, one should generally show even-handedness and even kindness, though not weakness, to a person no matter how goddamned racist he is, because getting pissed is a waste of time - except in extreme situations where society as a whole needs an adjustment. tl;dr. Be nice to racists; it works better. Happy? Now hush. You'd do more to help your cause by not saying anything, really. Unless you intended to be a strawman, in which case, proceed.
